Whilst my stay was during a quieter period (only had to wait 6 hours!) I really must voice my concern about the inner waiting room called the blue room. It is an intimidatingly tiny side room which when I was placed in there had one seat left which was fortunately near the open window. It is for 6 patients but some patients had partners with them who were eventually told to go to the main waiting room much to the dismay of the patients. A nurse administered a cannula to me in this room with everyone watching which I found uncomfortable with and then two of us were put on drips in there again not at all a satisfactory procedure. There was no privacy in the blue room and sharing with other ill people in a such close and very warm atmosphere meant there was a good chance of coming out of A&E with more than you went in with. I do understand the need to house people at busy times but this really is not the answer!!

My husband was admitted to Ward 5a for several weeks, he has nothing but nice things to say about the Care he received from all the staff.. doctors, nurses, hca’s and therapists, everyone including housekeepers to volunteers were respectful and kind. Thank You to each and every one 👏👍

great endoscopy team. Went in for an odg, the dr leading the procedure was efficient and friendly, the two female doctors (brown and blonde hair) were wonderful. Comforting and reassuring, a credit to the NHS.

After coming into a+e unexpectedly the care and compassion and care I received, was unbelievable could not thank everyone enough for their help and support from A+E reception to drs and nurses in A+e and the radiologist where I had a MRI scan to the drs and surgeon I saw on the ward and security and cleaners thank you all

Attended Urgent Care with a friend who had fallen over. Everyone we met was kind and communicative and acted with respect and professionalism. The waiting time was satisfactory and we were kept informed of next steps.

I had a lovely experience from start to finish. I can’t remember everyone’s name because of the pain killers and the review isn’t allowing me to add it but everybody that took care of me. You are the backbone of this country, Ward c4 Thank you

My wife needed an endoscopy. We arrived early and despite warnings of a possible wait she was taken in before time by a delightful Nurse. The procedure was quick, efficient and painless. Great team. Faultless, thank you so much.

My granddaughter was born yesterday after a long not straight forward labour. The staff were literally outstanding. Every single one of them were informative, friendly, open. The NHS gets slated so often so it’s good to be able to write a positive review. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the safe delivery of our beautiful baby girl yesterday. If I had my way you’d all get double pay, more breaks, 10 weeks paid holiday!!! You had to make do with M & S biscuits im afraid but hope you enjoyed them! Be should proud of your service x

We arrived early for my mum's appointment but all the staff were kind and professional and most of all caring. My mum suffers from Parkinson's but everyone was understanding with her condition and showed kindness and empathy throughout her stay.
