Rated 5 out of 5 stars Excellent Shepton Mallet Radiology ultra sound guided injection Wow what a great team ! Kind , informative , explained everything , not rushed and made me feel at ease and included in my care Special thanks to the nurse and the Consultant radiologist . They were so nice and caring . I really liked them both . Fully recommended if you ever need this procedure or this department for a procedure Thank you Radiology Shepton Mallet !! Date of experience: 04 December 2024

I’ve had both hips done at Shepton mallet hospital ,could not fault the service from reception right through the whole of the hospital thank you . 5 stars

This hospital far exceeded any expectations. The staff were lovely all of the way through and took extra time to try and calm my very significant nerves! The whole experience was as good as it could possibly have been. Thank you - all of you.

On arrival into a very pleasant atmosphere, the receptionest was most pleasant and helpful, as were all the staff on my visits. The meeting with the consultant was most helpful and informative. My whole experience was extremely good and would recommend this hospital to everyone.

had a ultrasound guided into both hips.Doctor and his assistant made me feel at ease and where very friendly. A credit to the hospital

I arrived at the hospital and found there were no parking spaces and the car park was so restricted I spent several minutes doing turning around at a dead end. My appointment was cancelled and they hadn't contacted me until after I left home. How can I use a hospital without any parking?

Dear Ellie, This review has only just appeared for me to respond to so I am sorry as I am sure you were expecting a reply sooner. Unfortunately our car parking is limited but it is free of charge. If you phone ahead of arrival and you are running late we can for most cases move your appointment to help you. On the day that you had your appointment the surgeon was unwell. We did try to call you some days before but were unable to reach you. I do understand why this would have been frustrating but some events are out of our control. I see that you have recently had an appointment with us. I wish you well. If you have concerns or would like to talk this through with me I would be happy to receive a call. I had a hip replacement on the 20th of March the care I received was amazing all the nurses and medical staff were brilliant and as for the hospital food 10 out of 10 thanks mike bond

I had a hip replacement 2 weeks ago. I cannot speak highly enough about the care I received. Everyone, Receptionists, outpatients, consultant, x Ray dept, physio, cafe, and all nurses, qualified and unqualified, ward clerks, and all theatre staff. (Hope there is no one I've left out) were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Thankyou so much Pam

Rated 1 out of 5 stars Shepton mallet foot and ankle… Shepton mallet foot and ankle orthopaedics Update saw another consultant foot surgeon from another hospital yesterday My Xray in my foot shows a screw head that actually is sticking out causing me the pain that I was trying to explain to the surgeon in the first place I was actually believed this time and was given a proper examination and not dismissed !! It’s absolutely shocking that I’ve been left like this in pain by an uncaring surgeon obviously thinking I was making it all up! All I get from them is how sorry they are I feel this way without absolutely no plans to review your care . Your are just dismissed or told make a complaint That does not resolve an ongoing physical issue !! Appalling Date of experience: November 02, 2024
