I attended the minor injuries unit today with a small shard of glass in my right foot. The treatment I received from the reception, nurses and x- ray staff was excellent. Thank you.

Everyone I had any communication with today were professional friendly reassuring and kind. I was seen quite quickly and left free of pain with the prescription to manage the pain when it reoccurred The Dr wished to do further tests, however because I was on holiday this wasn’t possible. I am delighted that I can now continue my holiday pain free I can not thank them enough.

  3. Review titled Wonderful Experience

Having suffered a complex injury to my collarbone requiring surgery I have been treated by the amazing Physiotherapy team at the Princess of Wales Hospital. The care I have received has been wonderful. The person who has booked my appointment on the telephone is always so friendly and helpful, the person I believe to be the lead Physio always takes time to say good morning and ensure that I am being looked after, finally the Physiotherapist that cares for me has from my first appointment shown such kindness and professionalism, on every occasion manageable goals have been set, measurements of improvement have been monitored and critically the communication has been excellent. The results are that I have moved from a position of extremely limited movement and concern for the long term use of my shoulder/arm to regaining almost total pre-accident levels of mobility and confidence. In my opinion this is a department is being run with care and professionalism and is a credit to all involved.

My Husband and I visited the minor injuries clinic this morning. My husband had a car door closed on his fingers and they were in a pretty bad condition. He was seen very quickly in triage; referred straight away for an immediate x-ray afterwhich treatment for a fracture was administered - with an appointment for the next day at the fracture clinic. We were in and out in under 2 hours! The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. With all the news of delays and issues in the NHS I thought I'd get in touch to thank you for such excellent care.
