  1. Review titled Minor Injuries Unit

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Richard Neesham - Posted on 09 October 2023

I called in late Thursday, October 12th, with a bad ear infection. The prompt service was exceptional in today's NHS, wish I could remember the nurses name, and free parking compared to the extortionate charges I usually have to pay. After many bad NHS experiences this visit was a very refreshing change.

  2. Review titled Close it down

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Nigel Graver - Posted on 12 September 2023

11/09/23 15.50 hours called in due to increase of pain and discomfort to my hand/wrist from falling over backwards last week. Gave details, and injury, then told you cannot be seen today, but an advisor would give you advice. Stood next to him for 10 minutes while he stood there taping away on his laptop in the corridor. He then asked me what's wrong, told him then he advised I need to go to hospital (I told him I am) only to be told we shut at 6pm. Asked if I could pop back tomorrow and was told it would be the same reply. I said it's painful, and you must have a system for patients to be seen? No. so I left.

  4. Review titled Awful practise, Princess of wales hospital

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 12 July 2023

I visited the practice at 4:30 when online their closing times states 6pm. I walked through the door and the reception lady was absolutely fine took my details and said she will book me an appointment in . She then said see my colleague in front. So I went straight to her and she said that they won’t see me because they have too many patients already and that’s it’s not there problem i ether need to see my GP or get myself a wrist spraint. Absolutely disgusting service that the cannot even give a quick look. Whilst the receptionist could have told me that in the fist place when the nurse could be doing appointment. Will not ever return like people say.

  5. Review titled Incompetent staff in Minor Injuries Unit

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 30 June 2023

My son attended the Minor Injuries Unit after injuring his foot. The nurse(?) who saw him was dismissive and unprofessional. She said he might have broken a toe but it needed no treatment and that the pain he felt was because of his low pain tolerance. An X-ray taken later at a different hospital showed that he had fractured a metatarsal and had a fracture with displacement of a toe. I am appalled that my son, who was in great pain when he attended the Minor Injuries Unit, was treated in such a callous manner.
