The staff in the day care unit were friendly ,caring , and put me at ease, very interested in me and what I was there for.The Surgeons were amazing, so pleased with the way they treated me all the staff were amazing.The after care staff very friendly , although they must of been tired very professional.They kept me warm and fed, before I checked out they let me ring my hubby to pick me up, but one nurse waked me to the entrance of the hospital and waited until my husband arrived.Lovely.i Would recommend going there for surgery.Very happy with the put come, they are quick to refer you for further treatment.

I went in for a colonoscopy procedure just for a check up. I was overwhelmed by the manners and kindness of the staff and doctor.....The whole thing from arriving and leaving took only 2 hours. I can't thank them enough for making the visit so relaxing. 10 out 10...if I could give 11, I would....

Positive experience today at the QE day care centre. Supported at every step by the staff who were kind professional and caring. My procedure was explained to me clearly , I understood therefore was confident. The unit was clean and welcoming as was the reception area. Warm and polite welcome there also. Altogether a very good experience thank you to the staff there one and all.

I'd like to praise and compliment the GI dept and the secretaries who work within this department. Compared to other NHS hospital Trusts the service received is second to none. Telephones are actually answered, messages left are actually responded to and sometimes even on the day! I'm impressed, so a big thank you. Even when I've had CT / MRI / Endoscopy procedures at the QE the staff have always been lovely, polite and friendly. I know NHS get bad press but this praise to you all is warranted.

My teenage daughter was recently admitted to the children’s ward where she received brilliant care and support to address her condition. We are very grateful to the doctors, nursing and support team, catering and cleaning teams on the ward. She received very thorough investigations and diagnosis, and wrap around inpatient support was quickly also provided to the physiotherapy and occupational therapy team which was very beneficial. For what was a very worrying time for us all we felt fully supported and cared for. Thank you, the team are amazing.
