    Staff at minor injuries was just amazing especially the lady taking care of me , cannot fault them. Made the whole situation much more enjoyable

    It is so helpful the way they have laid out colour coded chairs so that every visit we have ever been to, has run like clockwork, so impressive. On this last occasion there was a delay with Doctors due to an operation running overtime but the Nurses made sure everyone was aware & comfortable & just so caring. Thank You All So Much.

    I want to say this first that the nurses that are a part of this clinic are lovely and this review is reflective of my treatment by the doctors and consultants with whom I met. I have never before been treated so poorly by doctors in my entire life. I just went in for an in person appointment to last 8 mins and be told there was nothing that can be done, they won't be putting me forth for any testing or looking into why I am having trouble getting pregnant and miscarrying. I spent an hour getting here, had to take off time from work for what could have simply been a phone call. This just highlights how little these doctors care about their patients as it was clear even in that small amount of time, that the few questions I asked appeared to be an inconvenience to the doctor. Additionally, it seems that unless you fit into a specific box as indicted by NHS, they don’t want to help you. Quite frankly this whole experience has propelled us to consider moving away from England so that we can actually receive care from NHS Scotland or go private so that we can not be an inconvenience to our doctors. The fact that I had to go out and do my own research and find out what was told to me was incorrect is just another example of how poor this care has been. I was passed off to another doctor who I met with for my 8 min meeting today, waste of time, because the last doctor was clearly over how upset I was when I had a miscarriage and then when upset when we found out we wouldn’t qualify for NHS funded IVF which he said would be our only chance to conceive. Essentially telling me because I was actively miscarrying we would no longer qualify for that. He passed us off because he could no longer be bothered to deal with me. I did not ask for a second opinion. I was crying on the phone upset and in pain and he just sighed and asked if there was anything else. These doctors do not care about your care and they make it abundantly clear. The general lack of care and compassion for the doctors, only the doctors, at this clinic has been the nail in the coffin of our journey to conceive. Not once have I felt anyone had my best interest in mind or actually cared about what we are going through. Now we are forced to either move or go private in order to find a doctor who will actually give our situation attention and try to help us not treat us like an inconvenience.

    It's always odd attending your own place of work as a patient but I attended Minor Injury Unit today with a foot injury. Seen and assessed promptly by the nurse practitioner, X-ray done and results and support shoe sorted . Everything was fully explained, I could see the X-ray showing the fracture and I have all information required about how to access support and when if I have concerns. Thank you all .

    My son sustained a dislocated left shoulder from a Mixed Martial Arts fight and on arrival at A&E was immediately seen and sent for an X-ray. The two nurses, who I would love to name but they know who they are, saw to my son throughout his care and were both component, nurturing and professional. Highly recommend this NHS service and the two individual nurses. Thank you.

    Bee stings to my hands caused extreme swelling. Admitted under trauma & orthopaedics as an outlier to Sonning Ward fo IV antibiotics. The entire surgical and ward staff were so kind and thoughtful throughout my three night stay.

    I want to express my deepest gratitude to the incredible team at the Royal Berkshire NHS Adult Day Surgery Unit in Reading for the exceptional care I received on July 29, 2024. From start to finish, the level of professionalism, compassion, and dedication was truly remarkable. A special thanks to nurses who went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and well-cared for throughout the day. Your kindness and attention to detail made a significant difference in my experience, and I am profoundly grateful for your support. I tried to mention your names specifically, but not able to unfortunately. I would also like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Anaesthetist. Your expertise and calming presence made a world of difference, and I can confidently say you are the best I have ever encountered. Additionally, a big thank you to the ENT surgeon team for their outstanding care and skill. Your dedication to your patients is evident, and I am incredibly thankful for the excellent treatment I received. Thank you to everyone at the Royal Berkshire NHS Adult Day Surgery Unit for making my visit a positive and reassuring experience. Your hard work and commitment to patient care are truly commendable.

    Attended for an X ray. I was seen very promptly. The radiologist was extremely kind and spent time explaining the image required to me. I was talked through the procedure with care so I felt confident. amazing service, thank you.

    I've experienced a friendly and efficient service when I attended Endoscopy at Royal Berks today. Staff made me feel reassured and calm when attending for Endoscopy. They were so understanding and I am full of praise for the way I was treated, both in and out of the theatre spaces. Thankyou so much to all staff involved, at the time, and, previously, with follow up appointments. You are magic.
