Review titled Went with my partner
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 02 December 2022
She has had serious heart palpitations and a throbbing carotid, she ended up waiting over 5 hours just to be told it was normal and only a muscle pain. Which it definitely is not as it has remained and steadily got worse, spreading tbroughout her arm and chest. Although due to this experience we will never use bolton hospital again as the wait and service is atrocious. The staff were very disorganised and despite a relatively unfilled waiting room they still took hours to call people out, even ones with a very ill child. Overall very disappointed with the service and wanted to voice my displeasure at the wait time and minimal to no help from the doctor when she was finally seen.

Review titled Great Volunteer
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Mat 4 - Saturday 5/11. The lady who volunteered this day was just so lovely & very helpful. Nothing was too much for her. She was offering drinks from a trolley & dealing with all requests at the same time. So softly spoken & so pleasant. Plus doing all this as a volunteer. Inspirational. Thank you.

Review titled Brilliant Experience Most professional and caring staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Karen Harrison - Posted on 02 November 2022
I had an endoscopy today and was particularly anxious about the procedure probably more fear of the unknown The appt given was less than 10 days from referral Friendly efficient booking service by phone On arrival every one in the Endoscopy department was so professional friendly and reassuring All aspects were fully explained and I had lots of opportunity to ask questions I was treated most respectfully throughout The staff in the procedure room helped me relax and explained everything clearly that was going to happen It was all over before I knew it with very little discomfort The recovery nurses were superb - friendly, approachable and very reassuring Brought me welcome refreshments Clear explanation of my results and follow up procedures Nothing was too much trouble for anyone A definite 10 out of 10 for this department Everyone who supported me today is an absolute credit to the NHS Thank you very much

Review titled Terrible Service
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Phil Shaw - Posted on 16 November 2022
Arrived to find my appointment cancelled. No reason given. General bafflement and confusion prevailed. I currently have two referrals in the pipeline, they can't tell me which one was cancelled, or what the remaining appointment is for.

Review titled Amazing care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Mrs E Stocks - Posted on 03 November 2022
My daughter came in through children's Accident and Emergency. All the nurses and doctors were amazing. She was then transferred to F 5 and then E 5 where we stayed for 2 nights. The care of all staff was wonderful. It was a stressful time with a poorly child but the staff reassured and cared. Thank you for all everyone did!!x
