I wish to say a big thank you to all the staff on the Same Day Assessment Clinic, in which I recently spent 7 hours. I could not have been looked after any better. They made sure I had drinks and food in between waiting for blood tests, ECG and a head scan. Thank you for being so caring and professional. I also attend Treliske eye clinic for infections for macular degeneration, where I am also looked after very well by the wonderful staff and am very grateful for all they are doing for me.

On the second day of my holiday in Cornwall I was rushed into A and E with acute pancreatitis. This was a scary time for not only for me but also all of my family who were also on holiday with me and my husband. The care and treatment I received for the whole eleven days I was in your hospital was outstanding. Every single member of staff was approachable and kind. I could not have received better care I believe anywhere else in the world. My family and I would like to extend our huge gratitude to all: the A and E staff, the whole of the Pendennis Ward team, the surgeons and everybody else involved with my care. To you all I would like to tell you that you are all an amazing, dedicated, professional and wonderful group of people. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I had to attend Treliske for an MRI and having checked the location of the MRI department online, I followed the signs to the Tower where I was directed to the basement. On arrival the sign said "MRI no longer here", fearing that I would be late for the appointment, I sought the help of staff and was directed to the Trelawny suite .... where we had passed 10 minutes before. I was partially to blame as my letter made no mention of the Tower, so the online map of Treliske is obviously out of date. Having said that, the MRI staff were lovely and very helpful.

I attended Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro for an endoscopy. I was offered an appointment within a couple of days of seeing my GP. I was quite nervous but the staff made me feel very reassured and the fairly invasive procedure was actually much better and more comfortable than expected. Thanks to all the team who provided an efficient and friendly service which could not be faulted from beginning to end. I was also able to take my report away with me.

Review titled Tooth extraction

I had to have a tooth extraction under general anaesthetic. The whole process was very smooth and the nurses and doctors were spot on. Anaesthetic was all done painlessly and when I woke up the tooth was out with very minimal pain and soreness. All my questions are answered following surgery. Would like to thank all the staff

I got a message from the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust - no use to anyone without mobile reception as the code is sent to a mobile number. Why not have it as an email attachment or within the email? The message told me that my hepatology appointment is at RCH, Treliske, with the date/time, to use this secure link to see more information, and to enter the user verification code if asked when logging in.

Whilst away on a trip, a member of our party who has just turned 18 was admitted with possible meningitis. As we were down as a scout group, she did not have any family with her so we managed between us to visit her and check in on her. Whilst the actual A&E staff were great, once she was admitted it was a different story. They had no vegan food to offer her, so we had to take in food for her everyday. The nurses were rude and unhelpful . She was in and out of consciousness and confusion so we tried to be there as much as possible to help her understand what was happening, as the nurses had no interest in this. Several nurses would not take the time to clearly explain to her what was happening in her care and one even rolled her eyes at us when we asked what the plan was. Overall it was a very negative experience and eventually her parents came and moved her themselves to torbay hospital back home where she was much better looked after. This is not that first bad experience I have had with this hospital, the nurses here are often rude and the patient care is unorganised. Unfortunately this will not be the only bad review I will be leaving

seen in the Respiratory Outpatients this morning. From the start, the receptionist and nurse were friendly and efficient. I then saw the Consultant, who gave the most patient centric consultation I have every received in the most friendly manner. I have come across a few Consultants in the last few years and he stood out as a shining example of expertise and caring. I cannot praise him enough. Thank you to all the staff.

I have urethral bulking today due to stress incontinence. I had the procedure at the Treliske (Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust). First they give you a bit of a clean, insert a tube to give you injections to numb the area. These are uncomfortable, I wouldn’t say it hurt, I found injections at the dentist hurt more. Once this was done they put a camera into my bladder, I had the option to watch on a screen to see what they were seeing and they explained everything. They then started the injections - some were fine, slight scratch, some hurt more, but the team were really supportive and I didn’t require any other pain relief, it’s about 10 seconds and it wears off. Once it’s done they give you drinks as you to pee if you have a good pee they scan your bladder to ensure it was empty and then you're off home. It’s uncomfortable, a couple of injections hurt more than the other, but overall it was manageable. If you’re having this procedure the team will support you and you do have the option of additional pain relief if needed. Try not to worry, you're in control. Recovery is quick, a little sore after your put your feet up and rest.
