  1. Review titled Exceptionally Poor Experience

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 07 November 2022

I can honestly say we would have got better service if we had gone to the vets!! Animals get better care, waited over 3 hours to see a nurse, in this time we saw more than 20 staff walk through the hospital, all of which sauntered through with absolutely no urgency to what they were doing, the waiting room is packed, some people have been waiting for beds for over 13 hours!! I despair if this is the best care that can be provided! There is no patient privacy with people trolled through the waiting room. Covid can no longer be used as an excuse for such poor customer service. You wouldn’t expect to wait this long for a plane. I am a farmers son and if we had a cow with the same issue she would be seen within half an hour. I’m afraid to say the system is broken!!

  2. Review titled Caring staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I struggled to find exactly where I was going, but every member of staff I asked for help was so kind and helpful. When I used the mobile breast screening service, I couldn’t praise the staff enough. The member of staff who looked after me was amazing. She was so kind, considerate and compassionate.

  3. Review titled Transfer from one hospital to another via private ambulance.

by Floence Ellen - Posted on 05 October 2022

My husband was collected by an ambulance driver who was in a rush and told the staff that if he wasn't ready they would leave without him. My husband told them that he had an infection in his spine and asked her to be careful of banging into anything as it caused severe pain. Once in the ambulance as they were pulling away their mannerism was very much about themselves and no concern for the 3 patients. The ambulance was not driven with due care for the passengers. As roundabouts were approached their driving was not suitable for carrying patients. My husband asked them to take care at the roundabouts but they took no notice. He arrived at the new hospital in more pain than before. My husband is a retired from the emergency services but was a class one driver. He now drives coaches and buses. He takes pride in his work with the public. He stated they weren't suitable to be driving the public around. It is not like my husband to be critical like this. This driver was from a private company. My husband was left angry and vulnerable. He was left in unnecessary pain.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Following referral for CT scan a mass was detected on one of my kidneys. Quickly came in to see surgeon who took me in very quickly and had keyhole surgery to remove kidney. My recovery and time on Day Surgery ward was exemplary. All staff were first rate, showing dedication, compassion. They were reassuring and had time for every patient.
