I recently had my baby at RSCH and felt so looked after and cared for. Our main midwife was wonderful but all other members of staff were also great.

  2. Review titled CT scan arranged by GP - speedy diagnosis and treatment

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Angie - Posted on 29 January 2024

I consulted my GP because I was experiencing worsening shortness of breath. Given my history he felt a referral to Cardiology was required, and as the surgery is participating in the scheme that allows GPs to request CT scans, he also arranged a CT scan of my chest. This was on a Thursday. The next day I was contacted by Radiology, and I had my CT scan on the Saturday. On Monday morning my GP phoned me. He had been contacted urgently with the results, that showed I had blood clots in my lungs. Later that morning I was in his surgery, things were explained, and I came home with my medication, plus I have one appointment with Haematology in two months time, and a referral to Respiratory Medicine. Without the ability to book a CT scan, I would still be waiting for the Cardiology appointment, and any subsequent tests they requested.

  3. Review titled Fantastic

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 11 January 2024

: I was booked into Cardiac Day Ward to receive an Angiogram. From the moment I walked in I was treated superbly. I had a problem giving blood for testing - no problem they found a way to deal with it. In the operating theatre they played my favorite music. Because I had to drive home afterwards, they arranged for me to stay in the Patient Discharge Lounge to recuperate. I was treated royally there with a cup of tea and then supper. I left my pills there and when I rang to check - the sister remembered my name! The whole experience was just great. The people I met all wanted to look after me and make my stay as comfortable as possible. A great day in a very professionally run hospital. Thank you very much.

  4. Review titled Fantastic treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Amanda Kimber - Posted on 17 January 2024

My excellent local surgery, Loxwood, saw me within 3 hours after finding a lump in my breast. I was referred to Royal Surrey Breast Clinic, contacted within 48 hours, and seen in 8 working days. The one stop clinic was quick and very efficient. The doctors and staff were friendly and reassuring. Fortunately the lump was a large cyst and after mammogram and ultrasound it was swiftly drained. Please pass my thanks to all at the clinic for being so nice and kind.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Our son attended hospital via accident and emergancy after Christmas and recieved fantastic treatment. We where seen very quickly and every nurse and doctor we had contact with had passion for care. Our son was placed on a ward for 24 hours and unfortunately needed a ng tube and canula all where placed first time by experts in pediatrics. We monitored closely and given great support to ensure we could leave with a much healthier and happier baby 24 later. With a follow up appointment to check he has clearer this virus.

  7. Review titled Recovery after operation

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Jill Whittingham - Posted on 28 December 2023

Planned operation turned out to be more complicated. Wee prior to op then original 45min operation became 3hrs. Recovery involved urine retention 7 hours later with a lot of pain. Wish catheter had been fitted sooner to take away intense pain which brought about pessimism. Could this be looked into with future operations recovery please. At last a week later and wearing a catheter at home for a week has resolved so humanity is now part of my existence. Just do not wish to go through this operation recovery procedure again.

I would like to say thank you for the amazing care I received at your hospital. I was taken ill whilst on holiday from South Africa, and was admitted to the hospital, I cannot say thank you enough to all the doctors and staff for the level of care and compassion I received whilst there.

  10. Review titled Lovely staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had a colonoscopy, having been fast tracked by my GP for possible cancer. Everyone in the Endoscopy Unit, from check in through to the actual procedure and provision of a welcome cup of tea was incredibly kind and caring. The whole atmosphere was welcoming and put me at ease. I was also impressed at the speed at which I was seen, 7 days from my GP appointment to being told no cancer was detected.
