Review titled Great help with sleep problem
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Cilla - Posted on 11 October 2024
Having suffered with insomnia for five years and more I was thankful to receive help from the Therapist.I was able to have face to face appointments as my hearing on phone or video is not good .I appreciated this.I followed all the instructions on the insomnia videos. The first month was challenging to do all that was suggested and I was very tired .After four months of sleep therapy I am now sleeping much better and no longer dread long sleepless nights and no longer Need sleeping pills to sleep. A good nights sleep makes all the difference to coping with life . Thank you to the insomnia therapist

Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Gemma milne - Posted on 09 October 2024
Hello, I want to thank the accident and emergency department especially rhesus for saving my life by putting me on a ventilator on the 3/10/2024 Thank you for supporting my partner and I am extremely grateful for everything you did, even putting up with my dad's multiple phone calls to see how I was getting on. The whole team is absolutely fantastic, very caring and I wouldn't be here now if it wasn't for you.

Review titled Okay experience
Rated 3 stars out of 5

The doctor I had was amazing. I felt so safe in her presence, and her calmness kept me calm and feeling safe. However, sadly the nurses were poorly organized meaning I had to stay over an hour and a half later than my discharge time due to them admitting they forgot me. I understand it’s very busy, and it’s easy to make these mistakes, but maybe better organization when it comes to patients and patient files is needed. I am very grateful though for all the help I received.

Dear patient, thank you for taking the time and trouble to tell us about your experience. We value all feedback from our patients as it helps us to keep improving our services and we take this feedback very seriously. Your experience of waiting for discharge was not what we expect for our patients. Please do contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service if you would like to discuss this further. The team can be contacted on rsc-tr.PALS@nhs.net. Thank you. With kind regards, Elaine Kavanagh, Matron for Accreditation and Patient Experience

I would to say a huge thank you to the staff in orthopaedics when myself and my resident who has advanced dementia were left stranded due to transport, they were rallying round to see her something to eat/drink and also trying to get us home as quickly as possible. Thank you so much again 💓

Review titled Couldn't recommend more
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Phoebe Dobke - Posted on 24 September 2024
I went to an emergency GP appointment on Sunday, then A&E for about 8 hours waiting for a bed and finally to the Milbridge ward the following day. Being admitted and the discharge process were quite long but all staff were amazing and very apologetic about the wait and conditions in A&E (especially as I'm pregnant). Although I didn't get much sleep that night the service I received was amazing. This only improved once I was moved to the Milbridge ward, staff were so kind and caring with incredible patience for some more difficult patients on the ward. Such a shame our hospitals are so underfunded as the staff really do deserve better, it's amazing they can provide such a high quality of care considering their resources.

Review titled Such a wonderful experience
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Dani Lewis - Posted on 30 September 2024
I wanted to send a message praising how wonderful lady who gave me my recent vaccines for whooping cough and rsv during pregnancy. Your ai checker says I can’t include her name but the initials are cf. Not only did she remember who I was, but she went out of her way to be kind and explain exactly what the vaccines were for and what it meant for me and my baby. When I mentioned that I wasn’t sure where the maternity unit was in the hospital, she went out of her way to show me exactly where I would need to go and what would happen on “the big day”. We spoke about my ultrasound and came to check in with me afterwards to see if I was having a boy or girl and celebrated with me afterwards. Such a wonderful member of staff. She’s an asset to your team. Thank you.

Review titled Wonderful Phlebotomy Team
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 03 September 2024
Despite being incredibly busy on Monday 2 September, the team of 3 phlebotomists were so kind to my daughter who suffered from low blood pressure and low oxygen levels following her blood test. Everyone was friendly and patient (especially considering the clinic was overwhelmed and staff were stressed) - arranging transfer to A&E and making sure there was a hypo kit available (my daughter has Type 1 diabetes). Must also mention the lovely staff in Paediatric A&E who were thorough, good humoured and speedy! Thank you to everyone.
