All the staff were amazing as soon as we got there we got seen quite quickly and had tests done the doctor we had went above and beyond not just for my little boy but for me she kept coming in to make sure I was OK the care we got from the panda unit was absolutely amazing and I can't thank them enough

Every person I met was very nice, very helpful and with huge knowledge. Despite the behavior of some patients (not very polite and nice), each of the medical staff was professional, did not escalate the conflict and calmed the atmosphere. I did not required a bed but fell asleep sitting up, when I asked if I could lie down, the nurse brought a bed for me and even the lack of free rooms, I was able to sleep. I was helped at the highest level of professionalism and knowledge. Yes, I had waited a long time to see a doctor, but I wasn't in a hotel, I was in the E&A department, and my life wasn't in danger any more. I thank from the bottom of my heart to everyone who was on duty on Friday night, from ambulance crew to nurseries and doctor. As a person with a risk of anaphylactic reaction, I visited other E&A across Manchester (unfortunately) and Salford Royal has the highest standards and professionalism. Thank you again.

Attended A&E with a parent who had a urology problem.The Urologist and A&E staff gave great care and treatment at an extremely busy time and we have nothing but praise for them. Thanks

Had to take my 2 year old to the panda unit at salford royal after doctors had failed to see her . The staff were brilliant from start to finish and saw to her as quick as they could . Can't thank the brilliant staff enough.

Obviously nobody wants to have to go to hospital, however the pre -op team and the gynaecology team have been nothing short of fantastic so far and have made visiting the hospital pleasurable. Every member of staff I have come in to contact with have been warm, welcoming and reassuring and have made me feel a million times better about my upcoming operation.

I had my first face to face review regarding my obstructive sleep apnoea and use of my cpap machine since before Covid. I was dealt with incredibly quickly and effectively by the team in the chest clinic. All staff were friendly, supportive and efficient. The whole process was really slick but it didn't feel like it was rushed. With everything that the staff have to face on a daily basis, it was just lovely seeing such friendly, positive staff who want to provide a wonderful service.

A&e is obviously struggling at this time but as my symptoms deteriorated quickly they were able to triage and sort out the necessary further checks at short order effectively. Everyone from doctor to nurse to the tea lady was wonderful in reassuring all patients, looking after them, and doing it with a smile during difficult times. When I was transferred to a ward, again I cannot fault the clinical staff. All did regular checks, established a treatment routine, helped with pain relief at short notice, did the regular observations as quickly and unobtrusively as possible and so on. Apart from one (I think) nurse who on the morning of 5 January made me get out of bed (I'm a R risk of fall) to collect a cup of tea from the door of the treatment room I was in as she would not enter the room for whatever reason. In the evening I was half way through receiving my treatment when my lovely nurse had to leave to help someone else. Some time passed, I buzzed to check if I had more pills to take and the same nurse who made me get out of bed to collect a cup of tea asked me short shrift what I wanted. I said I think I was due some medication. She responded "well I don't know. You'll have to wait for someone else. Can you turn off your buzzer light (again making me get out of bed to do it myself)." I daren't press the buzzer again in case it's her that comes back. She had the charm and compassion of a crumbling house brick. She has ruined an otherwise wonderful experience of caring, understanding, supportive and professional team.
