The consultant I see in the Pain Clinic is exceptionally empathic and commited to offering the best treatment and outcome for my spinal problem. All the staff, medical and administrative are extremely kind and professional. I am grateful that I have access to this hospital under the NHS as its location is so convenient for me. I would recommend it to anyone.

The re assesment nurse was brilliant I am very nervous about an impending operation, she explained everything in a way I understood and calmed my nerves

***Poor service*** I went for appointment this afternoon 14/05/2024 Recipient was surprised and informed me it's phone appointment but emails confirmed it was face to face appointment. I understand miss communication could happen but the worst issue was,no one cares to solve the issue then a member of staff informed me the doctor not in hospital!!! My journey from watford to crydon proves that the appointment was abslout wast of time.

I had keyhole surgery to repair two inguinal hernias. At all stages of my treatment, and in all departments, I was treated with skill, consideration, and where necessary, humour. The staff in all departments went out of their way to make me comfortable. I was booked in as a day case, but owing to some routine discomfort, was gladly offered an overnight stay, which I gratefully accepted.

I went privately to Shirley Hospital, I received and invoice and paid promptly, as I was leaving the country. Prior to my leaving I received an email informing me that I needed to pay for my service. I informed them that I had paid. After many emails etc., to many people I have received an email telling me that not only do you get charged for the service, but also the same amount to the hospital which makes me wonder how they came to the same cost? I believe I have been double charged but they are hiding behind the same fee for the hospital! I was with the consultant for approximately 15 minutes.
