    Had a pre assessment and we were late (half hour late) as coming from over an hour away. The nurse that saw us was so nice, not once did she make us feel stupid or that we were an inconvenience. Saw us with a smile and gave us all the time that we needed did not rush us at all. Wish I could remember her name .

    I have been today to have an injection in my left neovascular. And I wanted to immediately write to thank all staff.. especially the nurses on the front line.. I have to say from a routine trip to Specsavers and then the speed and care shown by all in the ophthalmology dept, which was and is truly amazing.. This is truly the nhs at its best ..! Please thank all the staff by sending this email and if you ever need a video testimonial I am always ready Thank you

    I have nothing but praise for my experience at Solihull Hospital. From my initial consultation to surgery today, the process has been flawless. I have been involved every step of the way with my treatment, all aspects have been thoroughly discussed and all fears allayed. The staff at all stages have been so knowledgeable, kind and caring, a real testament of the quality of treatment and care at Solihull. Thank you!

    Once again the Solihull barrier ticket machine entrance wasn't working we had to go to main reception. It's been broken in & off for ages. Also the payment machine sometimes accepts card only and other times cash only or the North entrance one isn't working or the south entrance isn't. What are we paying our parking charges for.

    I just got home from having my prostate removed using robotic surgery. The whole experience from the scans, biopsies, information and of course the final procedure has been first class. All Staff from top to bottom are friendly and caring both night and day. My son has to go monthly to the anti coagulant clinic and if his appointment is at 10am then he gets done at 10am. All my appointments during the build up to the surgery were always on time and informative. cannot speak highly enough of this hospital and I’m so glad it’s only 10 minutes away. Nobody wants to go to hospital but at Solihull you are in safe hands. Ten out of ten in all aspects.

    The staff were so reassuring and kind and took the fear out of my procedure. Everyone doctors and nurses explained everything clearly. The sandwich tea and biscuits were most welcome in recovery. Thankyou one and all. You couldn’t have done more.

    Every appointment is rearranged at least twice. Complete failure to understand that housebound elderly patients rely on relatives to arrange time off work to bring them - swopping and changing this is not always easy and this department's appointment booking/admin is high-handed, disorganised and inconsiderate. Have also attended unnecessary 'double-booked' appointments. Admin staff have no understanding of the procedures being booked, urgency or otherwise. On the plus side the medical staff seem very competent and reassuring.
