Great service having a Lymphoscintigraphy on 6 February 2023 in Nuclear Medicine. Staff were kind, explained the process step by step, and made it an effortless comfortable process.

All the staff made my experience comfortable and they were all really friendly/cheerful. They treated me as quickly as they could, explaining fully what the next step would be and made me feel at ease. I went in feeling very unwell, but ended up feeling much better even before it was time for me to leave, all thanks to the care I received. I want to say a massive Thankyou and that you’re all doing an amazing job!

I was asked to arrive at hospital at 7am for an operation. This is not an easy time and had to stay in hotel the night before to ensure I was on time as I live a long way away. I was checked and changed and had to wait until 1.30pm for the planned operation in a cold corridor. Why not allow people to remain clothed? or even to leave if the wait time is known to be so long? Not a patient friendly process.

staff and doctors excellent but have not heard a response until now have no idea what the results of my examination are.I have not received any paperwork or verbal communication from the department,I even went to the department desk and asked if they had forgotten my case

From Accident and Emergency we were sent directly into Medical assessment unit to avoid reporting a 4 hour waiting breach. There were approx 20 in this waiting area and this remained fairly constant all night. Cubicles seemed to be blocked by inpatients so no flow from the waiting area. We waited for 30mins for a nurse to triage, and were seen at 8.50am by a Doctor, 6 1/2hrs after booking in. Blood was taken but there was trouble in transit to the labs and we finally came away without blood results a whopping 10 hours after booking in. On a positive note, there were loads of Police with patients and the NHS staff worked well together with the Police to keep patients safe. My main comment, other than the bottleneck of inpatients blocking cubicles , is that not one Nurse even looked at us in the waiting area to say how long the wait was lightly to be and why. We were pretty much ignored until called. If anyone had given the patients here an update, we would have been able to go for a wander, get a drink or even make a decision not to stay. As it happened, some patients needed help here and either the police or other patients gave assistance. Sat right in front of the team station, this is surely unacceptable.

In August 2021 I saw an consultant re- mobility issue & knee pain, it was agreed I would receive a follow call 6 months later to establish how I was and if no improvement an MRI or X Ray would be undertaken. The follow up call never materialised & so 11 months later I contacted the secretary of the surgeon who arranged for a consultant appointment, that took place 15 months after August 2021 in November 2022. The result of my appointment examination revealed I required. Left Hip replacement and was duly put on the list for the operation, just short of 12 months later I am in severe pain with mobility problems and my mental health concerns me day after day. To compound my health I am now requiring a Right Hip replacement followed by a Right Knee replacement, no seems to care about my health whatsoever, my quality of life in virtually non-existent, does anyone care I don't believe they do.

I had an appointment this afternoon at the Pre-Op assessment centre. I had great trouble trying to find out how to pay for parking, although the receptionist kindly told me. On leaving I missed the payment machine and when I re-entered the site, I discovered the machine but it then told me I had nothing to pay. I was on site for about an hour and would like to pay what I owe.

Thank you for the professional work and care. I was incredibably stressed coming into hospital but everyone was kind and understanding. Protocols were in place to make my procedure as comfortable and dignified as possible. Deep respect to the staff and everyone involved in my care.
