From entering the hospital the staff couldn't have been more caring and kind. Staff involved with my operation from the surgeon to the nurses explained everything clearly excellent care throughout my stay Thank you

From the start to finish, I have recieved excellent care and communication. On the day of my procedure nothing was too much for the staff, The theatre staff made me comfortable and smile, as any operation can be scary no matter, how big or small. And finally a thank to my surgeon. I would recommend them all and the Hopital to friends, family and beyond.

The lady in the radiographer department was amazing. She made me feel calm and explained everything she needed to do. My consultant was extremely professional as always. Glad to say the surgery went well. A fabulous experience all around. Thank you

Everyone from walking into the reception to having my procedure to going home the next day gave 100%to my well-being. The ward staff, the kitchen staff ( excellent meals ) and all the theatre stall were exceptional. They were very knowledgable, courteous and professional. I can’t thank them enough. I attended Spire Elland for my gallbladder removing (laparoscopic cholecystectomy) April this year, as an NHS patient. From referral from the GP, to my consultation at Elland, to my date of surgery it was very quick and efficient. The whole process went smoothly including consultation, pre assessment, admission to the ward, the operation itself, recovery on the ward and discharge. I was seen by the surgeon and the anesthetist before the operation. The amazing staff made me feel welcome and at ease. I was checked on regularly post operation in my own room which had been newley refurbished. I had my own bathroom and a large flat screen TV. I felt very safe and well cared for. My pain was well controlled and the staff were all friendly and experienced. I would definitely recommend having surgery here.

had to have surgical procedure today ,carried out by assisted by Very friendly,professional, and although nobody likes to visit an Hospital I would have no problems coming here again

I am writing to share my praise for all staff follow my recent stay at the Spire Hospital Elland. I had chosen my care to be managed by Spire Elland through choose and book. The waiting time was less than at other hospitals and the initial date for surgery was even brought forward to 16th March which was another bonus. The consultant was fantastic going through what the procedure entailed and what to expect post surgery including the aftercare, as too was the consultant anaesthetist. Nursing staff were polite and professional giving quality care and nothing was too much trouble. The room I stayed in for the day was lovely and clean, good job by the domestic team for their hard work too. I have made a full and speedy recovery. Overall a big thank you to everyone for the quality care that I received.

Couldn't ask for better care. All the staff are energetic, kind, friendly and the whole experience - including one overnight stay - was made as comfortable as it could be. The theatre staff made me feel I was in very comfortable hands. 5**********

Paid to have my back cemented, only because I was waiting on the NHS and couldnt cope with pain and lack of mobility any longer. was greeted with friendly faces upon arrival. the staff couldnt do enough for me. One Nurse from Nigeria was there every step of the way, many thanks to you and everyone else.
