I cannot praise enough my surgical experience: masterly, good humoured, confidence-inspiring. Great attention paid to pain control, to patient reassurance and information, and supportive nursing. Domestically: like a properly staffed, high quality hotel.

  2. Review titled Please take care with internal gynae exams

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Lovely receptionist and really pleasant nurse. A nice waiting room for the short wait before the appointment. Consented to an internal gynae exam. Having had a few in recent months and never having any problems elsewhere, this was unusually painful and caused internal irritation, pain and infection afterwards. When disposing of the wipes, I saw a metal scissor-like instrument (with angled, rounded ends) in the top of the yellow bin that I had heard open and close while I was on the table. If that was used for the examination, I had not been consented for that nor was I asked how I was during the exam itself. The nurse chaperone may well have noticed my fists clenching with the pain. Please feed this back to your gynae consultant. I would have been reluctant to be operated on here under general anaesthetic after this awake experience.

  3. Review titled Excellent care and service

The whole experience has been organised and of a high standard. I was updated the week before to check I knew what to expect and the day before with a specific time to save me waiting. My own room was great and the care I received was brilliant from the staff on Saturday 18/02/2023 from all staff especially as I was very nervous.
