Review titled Amazing gynaecology team and staff went above and beyond
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Jane B - Posted on 24 July 2024
Today I had a procedure as a day patient and I can honestly say the care and support I have received from the gynaecology team and all staff members from arrival, pre and post procedure to home was exceptional. I know I can’t name names but hopefully the team see this as I really wanted to show my appreciation to those who were there for me. Thank you to you all at Spire Harpenden 🙏

Review titled Mixed my records with those of another patient
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Leah Gray - Posted on 09 April 2024
I saw a Cardiologist via Spire Harpenden for 4 appts. and 2 Ct scans ( Aortagram and Angiogram) self-funded. They mixed my records with someone elses resulting in clinic letters being forwarded to myself and the GP with a mishmash of my details and those of another patient. I picked up on this error and it was remedied. Re the other patient? Who knows? This mishmash sheds doubt now on my diagnosis and whether the CT scan results I received were actually mine or those of another patient. This is compounded by the fact the Aortogram results differed from the findings of the NHS Hospital when I had the same scan just 3 months earlier. The Spire either didn't perform a thorough scan or the results issued to me were not based on my own scan but that of someone else. In addition on 2 appointments, the Cardiologist did not have my records to hand. Retrieving them ate into my appointment time. Additionally they made errors with my name, my date of birth (which was changed for some unknown reason half way through my care). A catalogue of errors which now leave me not knowing if my final diagnostic outcome can be trusted. I hope (as requested) they forward my CT scan images (not results but the actual scans) so that another professional can examine them or compare them to those I had previously.
