My partner came into the hospital on 6/9/24 feelings really poorly he was soon into the room where we spent 12 hours assessing him at around 5.30 pm he was diagnosed with a bleed on his kidney he was rushed to stoke hospital by ambulance and a doctor where sadly his care went downhill drastically

I went stafford hospital to have a colonoscopy procedure my second one, very friendly staff made it relaxing. When I went in the room to start the procedure I had gas & air the 3 staff in there were amazing we had such a laugh. They even said I wish all of our patients were like this. Well done for making a nervous day more chilled and relaxed. But I must say I hope I don’t see you again in a nice way. 😂😂😂

  3. Review titled No results for ct scan within 10 weeks.

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 October 2024

I had a ct scan 10 weeks ago and have had no results. Can only assume all is ok. If you ring the hospital you only get a recorded message asking you to leave details but get no call back. Was supposed to have follow up appointment with oncologist but no appointment has been offered. Frustrating and worrying experience dealing with Stafford and Stoke oncology.

  4. Review titled North Midlands Hand Centre

Have just left the care of the team after surgery this morning (‘team’ as I can’t name anyone - daft!) I have to say that from reception, care staff, anaesthetists, nursing staff and doctors/surgeon have been awesome - what every department in the hospital and NHS should strive to be! Call me and I’ll provide names as they all need recognition. Welcoming, friendly, put you at ease, professional, supportive and many other descriptive nouns state how I was treated today. The department is a credit also! Spotlessly clean , well organised and equipped. Thanks is not enough! Well done and thank you so much.👍🙏👏 PS - add the department to the drop down menu so it is independently recognised.

  5. Review titled Best hospital

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I am incredibly grateful to Stafford Hospital for the exceptional care I received. From the moment I was taken in by ambulance, I felt I was in safe hands. They conducted numerous tests, including a CT scan, blood tests, and urine tests, thoroughly checking everything. The staff was professional, caring, and made sure I was comfortable throughout. I truly believe they saved my life, and I can't thank them enough for their prompt and attentive care. It was the best experience l've ever had in such a critical situation. Thank you, Stafford Hospital, for everything!

  6. Review titled Over 4 hours for a child assessment

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 19 August 2024

Came into the hospital at 6pm with my 9 month child for a minor injury, she was triaged at 8pm and told that there wouldn’t be much of a wait because there is only one child infront of her, and at 9pm they said the wait would still be another hour. I’m not sure why it takes over 2 hours to assess one child. I have been in other hospitals with my first born and never had this long of a wait for a baby. It’s appalling and you can actually see patients being called, sent out within 10 minutes and then it takes another 20 minutes to 30 minutes to take someone else in. Rather than ranting about shortages they should actually get on with work. You can clearly see the pace at which they work is tortoise and then behave as if they have so much to do. I wish the NHS actually assess the number of patients the doctors have assessed over a period of time to get the true picture of efficiency.

  7. Review titled Exceptional standards of care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Darcy - Posted on 02 August 2024

I am so grateful for the care received by all members of staff, they were incredibly hands on and even witnessing them deal with challenging patience but remaining calm and compassionate towards them throughout. I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff on accident and emergency, from doctors, nurses to health care assistants everyone was so kind and considerate and really a credit to the hospital, I hope they all get the recognition they deserve as they really do an outstanding job.

  8. Review titled Efficient, Professional and Compassionate

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by andy fisher - Posted on 02 August 2024

I had to get an Ekg, the message from my doctor popped into my phone and i went along to the hospital. All the staff were very helpful and directed me to the right area with instructions i could easily follow. I logged on for my appointment using the machine about 30 mins early (the machine was super easy to use). I had hardly sat down in the waiting area when the (Dr/Nurse/Technician I have no idea) came out and said I could come through. I was a little nervous but she chatted and made small talk while it was setup and then told me to relax and after a couple of minutes it was all done. I don't like keeping doctors and other professionals waiting so I am always early for appointments, it was really nice to get seen so fast even though I was early. Thank you very much to all the staff at the hospital and lets hope the results are as positive as the experience.

  10. Review titled MRU Visit

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Rik - Posted on 31 July 2024

I arrived in a&e at Stafford with chest pain and was transfered very quickly to the MRU Unit. The staff there were exceptional and thorough from the moment I arrived. They carried out all manner of tests and kept me informed at every stage. I had to return a couple of times for follow on checks and again each time the staff were excellent and friendly. I was also really impressed by the cleanliness of the unit and the hospital overall. It comes across as a very well run Hospital, I had a really good experience. Many thanks to all the staff
