Booked in for circumcision, from the moment I arrived I was cared for. The nurses on the ward and surgeon were polite and understanding and very professional.

Amazing service all the way through for my little one with a bump on his head. Even received a teddy to enhance the experience. Very professional with a child focused approach. Answered all questions and thorough check over. Thank you very much for the experience.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I accompanied a relative last week in The Out Patient Department in Opthalmology at Stroud General Hospital. The Consultant couldn’t do enough, even though he was incredibly busy, he took time to thoroughly explain a complicated diagnosis. His patient received professional kind, care. This is the NHS at its absolute best !

Review titled Receptionist
Rated 1 star out of 5

Awful woman at reception, god help anyone who is seriously ill coming here and having to deal with her!!! So rude and obnoxious, what a shame that one has this to deal with as the nurses are lovely. In fact she was asking for my private medical details when she has no right. An absolutely awful woman!!!!

Review titled Wonderful course of treatment
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Ian Norman McPherson - Posted on 16 January 2023
Today's visit was part of a course of treatment, starting last year, for pain in my lower spine and hips. Right from the start, my treatment by my physiotherapist has been wonderful. The initial diagnostic session impressed me by the quality of questioning, listening, observation and responsiveness. The x-ray department then produced the needed scans with kind and prompt efficiency. My exercises have always taken appropriate account of my age (in my 80s) and abilities. Exercises have been introduced and developed gradually, letting me work at a pace I could cope with, was in control of, and happy with. Efficient notes have been taken for each session, with later discussion and assessment well-informed by these. If I needed, I could ring in for advice or a change of plan. The results have been mostly gradual, but so worthwhile. Some pain has gone and some reduced to much more manageable proportions. There are various unlooked-for excellent "side-effects", including lower blood-pressure, better tuning of my general muscular framework, and improved disposition and inclinations. In summary, this is a wonderful, life-changing course of treatment, calling for a big "Thank you" to all involved in any way, and especially to my wonderful physiotherapist. I shall maintain all these exercises with benefit and pleasure, as well as good memories.
