  1. Review titled Terrible past pillow to post.

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Rach - Posted on 14 October 2024

Son sent to A&E by his doctor needing scan or xray my son suffer anxiety and doesn't like hospitals also has needle phobia, after waiting a couple of hours and sent to nurse to see doctor the mention that they needed bloods or couldn't give my a scan he ended panicking and running out of hospital, so never had scan/xray, didn't take his anxiety and phobia serious so he ended up with a mental down. You can't talk someone/child out of a phobia within minutes/hours . Also terrible language barriers.

  3. Review titled Unforgettable birthing experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 30 September 2024

Planned c section and from start to finish the whole experience was incredible. Me and my husband were reassured all the way, and the care all the staff took of my baby was wonderful. From stepping foot into the theatre, to being took back to recovery, I never once felt nerves or anxious. All because of the incredible staff who went out their way to reassure us everything would be ok. My surgeon was brilliant and I’ll never forget her for bringing my baby here safely. All the theatre staff were wonderful and brilliant at their jobs. Special shoutout to my theatre midwife who looked after us from beginning to end (also extra special that my baby’s name was the same as hers), she is a true angel and couldn’t do enough for me. All my requests were met so that I had a magical birth and nothing was too much trouble for her. Overall, what could be a scary time for others, was not for me, because of the incredible hard work everyone did the day my little arrived. Thank you all for everything

  5. Review titled Disappointing neurology appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Kath - Posted on 02 September 2024

Seen a neurology follow up and for a 2nd opinion found that she’d spoken to neurology at Freeman who I had a bad experience with and put a complaint in about via Pals. As I ended up in Qe a&e the next day, for 3 days as she took no notice of my symptoms? Obviously she hasn’t seen notes on 2nd dystonic storm / dystonia given to in medical records since at Rvi a&e admission and treatment given for something she said I don’t have??? I’ll be seeking a neurologist appointment in London or abroad who deals with eds and the many commodities linked to this awful disease. Bad experience and misdiagnosed for years. I was told I couldn’t have scan movement tests for craniocervical instability??? Waste of my time and hers. Thanks for nothing…

  6. Review titled Excellent & quick services

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Stephen Smith - Posted on 23 September 2024

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier this year and operated on in September. Everyone from diagosis, through; choice of treatment; operation; aftercare were brilliant. Diagnosis and exploration was very thourough. The whole process took less than 4 months from diagnosis to post-op and I was only in hospital for one night. My grateful thanks to all consultants, doctors, nurses and other staff.

  7. Review titled Fabulous staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Sarah - Posted on 25 September 2024

I was sent to A&E today by 111 with palpitations and tightness in chest. I have a terrible medical phobia but was put at ease immediately. Every staff member I saw was friendly, kind and professional. Every step was explained to me and waiting times were pretty good considering how busy it was! The staff here are a real credit to the NHS

  8. Review titled Horrible experience by horrible nurse

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Gaynor - Posted on 20 September 2024

I was told by my gp to attend a@E. The nurse who called me rolled her eyes and sighed and spoke with utter disdain making me feel like wasting time. Aged 55 and first time I've been to a@E in my life. Still hoping to be sorted by my own Gp. Disgusting. It's not my fault she was having a bad shift. Don't work there if it's not for you

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have been in hospital for eight days and I cannot fault the staff or physios who are helping me recover. The physio team are really helpful and they motivate me to always do my best (I’m still in hospital) but I just wanted to thank all of the staff on d48 and physio for helping me feel better. I feel amazing!!!
