I visited orthopaedics outpatients for a follow-up after a hip replacement. Fantastic, friendly staff. I was seen on-time, had an x-ray and an appointment with a consultant. The process was efficient and my questions were answered in-full. The whole appointment took less than 20 minutes. Thank you Tetbury Hospital.

Went for an appointment this week about a skeletal problem, a consultation that the first doctor (very nice and good!) booked so I could see a specialist. Unfortunately, the specialist will deny you healthcare if you’re young! And won’t answer your questions, instead will have a go at you or the person supporting you with the appointment for “challenging” them. Recommends your GP to also not provide you healthcare just because it’s their philosophy not to give healthcare to young people, hopefully the GP won’t listen! Was had a go at for ages for “thinking of myself as disabled” even though I never said the word, and told him I don’t — I have a job! They took exception with me using a walking frame because “walking frames are for old people”, which is a very backwards view! I booked the appointment here because it had the shortest waiting list, but I wouldn’t recommend it if they employ these types of people! Just wait longer elsewhere in Gloucestershire in order to actually receive healthcare :)

Scheduled surgery after waiting 3/4 months is pain , got weighed and BP identify band on then got told surgery cancelled due to surgeon car broke down with flat tyre !!!! Matron offered to get him and they declined all of us got cancelled . Nurses were very apologetic and I rang and explained on way home but in pain and no one seemed to care saying that I would get a call when rescheduled . This is an extremely poor excuse for someone who had been very patient and tried to be understanding but no one seems to care other than a wonderful nurse who was assigned to me . Can not take painkillers due to it upsetting stomach they were told this but they again dismissed my pain and distress.

My wife was warmly welcomed and seen very promptly. At all times, she was kept informed of progress and reassured. All round, a very professional experience.

Called in for op right on time, staff fantastic. Cannot be a better place if you have to attend a hospital! Count myself so fortunate to be able to have my treatments here.

Attended day surgery. Brilliant staff who kept me well informed as to what was happening. Even received a telephone call at home the next day to ensure that everything was OK and there were no issues.

Had sacroiliac steroid injections for the first time. A restful experience in spite of having been so nervous. Too early yet to know whether the treatment will yield benefits but I cannot praise the theatre team highly enough. Thank you so much.

Had my cataract operation here, all information provided before was clear, arrived at given time slot, went straight in for operation, very caring throughout, gave detailed instructions for what I needed to do post operation and enough drops to last 4 weeks required. I couldn't fault the service in anyway, 5* rating for sure, very happy to recommend.
