Following a consultation with an orthopaedic surgeon I was advised to have some physiotherapy for my hip problem. Without my knowledge an appointment was made for me at Beaumont hospital, but as I received neither letter or e-mail regarding this appointment I obviously failed to attend. Approximately 2 months later I got a phone call telling me that I had missed the appointment and asking if I would like to arrange for another. I explained that no one had told me about this first appointment, but agreed a date for a new one. This I attended, but again received no letter or e-mail confirming the appointment, nor a telephone reminder the week before as happens with the Royal Bolton Hospital. All subsequent appointments were agreed with the physiotherapist at the end of each session, but no confirmation letters, e-mails or reminders were ever received. Beaumont Hospital really needs to get its act together and improve its (non-existent) patient communication.

The lady was an absolute superstar from start to finish very knowledgeable in her feild very helpful with all my questions really nice person inside and out great experience

I’ve had a course of physiotherapy at this hospital and the young lady who was treating myself was extremely good at her job and is certainly an asset she is knowledgeable and explains everything in full. Thank you

Pelvic floor physiotherapy Physio helped me to understand my condition and taught me how to prepare for surgery and maintain a healthy pelvic floor going forward. An essential part of treatment for prolapse. Well done Physio department at The Beaumont.

ia the physio therapist gave me total encouragement, valuable advice, showing empathy and kindness. She is extremely professional and a true asset to Beaumont going over and beyond her duties.

I had a knee replacement and the whole surgery was virtually pain free with minimal scarring, was taken very good care of by everybody involved and with the help of physio was soon back to normal

From start to finish I can not fault anyone or anything everyone who I came into contact with at the Bolton Beaumont they really looked after me and even when I came home they contacted me to make sure I was doing okay in one word absolutely brilliant thank you all so much xx

Staff are very pleasant and welcoming working efficiently to give you a relaxing experience. A comfortable waiting area with a very nice receptionist and the nurses were very helpful.
