    I chose this hospital as part of the NHS Choose and book system for ENT appointments. I hadn't heard anything for 3 months so I contacted the hospital as instructed only to be informed that the clinic isn't currently taking any ENT Referrals from the NHS. I've since raised a complaint with the hospitals complaints team who asked for my contact details in order to proceed with an investigation. I gave them the details that I was asked for and never heard from them again. I've now opted to go to Chase Farm but have to wait till November for my appointment. If you're an NHS patient reading this and you choose to use this hospital because it's private and has a high rating, don't be fooled. You will be disappointed.

    The physio has given the best help and advice He has shown me all the exercises l need to do but also explained what it was doing for me He always was very cheerful and helpful I was also pleased to have all my exercises printed out for me which made to a lot easier to follow

    Despite confirming my private appointment, the doctor failed to show up. This lack of professionalism and disregard for patients' time is concerning, especially considering the strict policy of charging patients for no-show appointments.

    Dispute paying £150 for my private consultation, the consultant was late and I spent less than 30 minutes with him. I felt rushed. Returned for follow up (another £150) I spent 15 minutes with him and again felt rushed. Despite wanting to go away and consider my options, I was called by the consultants secretary to chase up and ask if I was ready to book in for a procedure, I tried asking questions but found her to be pushy and lacking in any kind of patient with me. I was told that the consultant had already decided which operation I would be having ! When I questioned this I was asked to book another appointment (£150 again) to come back and discuss again with him. This confirmed that he hasn’t listened to me or my thoughts and expectations. It seemed to me that money was more important than patients. I have since been under the care of The Rivers Hospital in Harlow who have been wonderful. The two experiences have been as different as night and day I do not recommend The Cavell

    Everything ran so smoothly . I have been/stayed in this hosp several times over the past years and its so comforting and everyone is kind. caring I almost look forward to my visits.. I would not go anywhere else

    I was booked to have an endoscopy and was meant to be called about my medication choice but no one did. The endoscopy failed without sedation I was told that i could try again next week in the theatre but on discharge told I would get a phone call In 6 weeks This was to book another appointment in another 6 weeks. I cancelled this appointment but no one got my message. Very bad communication and a very long wait. I was an NHS patient. I was referred in Feb and as it went wrong they did not have another slot till september .

    Had an overnight stay following a Replacement Reverse Shoulder procedure. Well looked after by all levels of staff from Sister to catering. I feel sure that the calming environment will help a speedy recovery
