Review titled Same Day Emergency Care Team Fantastic
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Kyle Clent - Posted on 03 May 2023
came to A and E with a severe headache/pressure in my head. Following a high blood pressure reading in the assessment area. I was transferred to the same day emergency care team! This team were exceptional. They assessed me quickly and efficiently, they performed a lumbar puncture on me and spoke me through the procedure brilliantly. Easing my concerns along the way. Thank you so much for what you did for me during a very frightened time. Your particular department from the assessment nurses to the consultant were outstanding. Thank you from me and my family

Had an appointment today and I found my diabetic nurse that dealt with me was a very caring and helpful lady. I found myself in a difficult situation and she dealt with me in a very compassionate and understanding way. I have no way to express my gratitude to her. Unfortunately I’ve forgotten her name but all I can do is say that she deserves a medal for her hard work.

Review titled Fantastic experience

Unfortunately I can't remember the names of the midwives who took care of me, my partner and new arrival. The care they gave us was phenomenal. They got me through the labour, supported after when I had surgery and helped with Finley (our new arrival) until I was discharged two days later. We both had complications during the pregnancy so they monitored both of us closely. This put my mind at rest knowing my little boy was doing well. There were so many staff taking care of me when I was in surgery, they were all incredible and very caring. All of the staff were amazing, nothing phased them! I can't thank the incredible team enough. The pre, during and postnatal care was truly inspirational. I will be forever grateful for all of their help for ensuring my wonderful baby boy Finley William Morris arrived safely.

Review titled Horrendous experience
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Myles’ mum - Posted on 11 January 2023
My baby was due for an MRI scan. Dad who’s self employed took a day off and we also had to starve our 8 month old from 10am. Bear in mind he usually breastfeeds at least twice an hour. Arrived on time for our 12:00 appointment and Baby was terribly upset by that time due to hunger. Attempted to sedate him at 2pm and by that time he’s screaming his head off but we remained patient because the scan needs to be done. The medicine took effect by 2:20…. We then waited and waited and by 3:30 my baby had awoken . Nobody came to say anything , but when we inquired.. we were informed that MRI double booked and gave someone else first preference. They ignored that my baby has been suffering since 10am and with no feeding A baby!!! We’re livid of course because there’s no way they can sedate him again and I had no choice but to feed him at that point. You can’t tell an 8 month old baby to stay still and have the scan done with no sedation neither. my baby has now suffered for no reason, our day has been wasted , An entire day without wages, we drove over an hour to get here and the price of fuel is raging. Please do better!!!! You dropped the ball big time and all we get is sorry. Thanks to everyone at the children’s ward though, they did their part and was quite empathetic.
