Review titled Great support
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 19 December 2023
Had back surgery and have just returned home. Everything and everyone was great apart from the lady on the front desk who was not very welcoming when I arrived yesterday and not very friendly when I left today. She spoilt what otherwise was a really great experience

Review titled Great hospital.
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Marilyn - Posted on 13 October 2023
I have been in this hospital ( self funding) a few times over the last 15 years for different procedures and each time have been treated with dignity and respect. Most staff from domestic upwards have been there for many years and are all very kind and helpful nothing is too much trouble and they always have time to listen and help when possible. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Review titled Couldn't get the cannula in
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 13 July 2024
GP sent me here as the appointment for a gastroscopy would come through much earlier than going to Northampton General Hospital. There was one nurse and the consultant. Neither of them could get the cannula in, and there was no-one in the hospital for them to call to do it. I went through the normal recovery rooms, and in the second one the lady asked how it went and gave me a form to complete to give them a review. No-one had told her they were unable to do the procedure.

Review titled Time wasters
Rated 1 star out of 5

After seeing a surgeon who had access to letters stating I’m allergic to latex, after charging me £200 for a consultation and £500 deposit for an operation, I was told at the pre op assessment that they do not operate on people with a latex allergy??!! What kind of a hospital is this?? They seem a total rip off to me !!

Hi, we're sorry your experience wasn't the best it could be. Unfortunately, we do not see patients who have a latex allergy due to we don't have the services available if a reaction were to occur, as we don't have an ITU. All patients are accessed prior to surgery and if they have never had diagnostics before, a full latex screening will be completed and a negative test will need to come back for any surgery to be completed. Our patients are our top priority and we hope you understand our decision. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact: CustomerServiceThreeshires@circlehealthgroup.co.uk All the best, Three Shires
