I attended the minor injuries unit and x-ray department and was diagnosed with a fracture. The whole experience from reception through examination, x-ray, diagnosis and treatment was highly professional and extremely caring. All of the staff were wonderful. The hospital itself was spotlessly clean, tidy and seemed very well organised. I would like to thank the whole team and especially the doctor who treated me for such great service and for being so caring.

After arriving we didn’t have to wait very long before being seen by a kind consultant, who spoke very clearly, and slowly. My problem was dealt with in a very knowable way making one feel full of confident. I was happy I had at last been seen after waiting a long time to get an appointment. Parking was a real problem even with a disabled badge. My husband had to find somewhere outside the hospital to park.

The hospital staff were excellent. Our grandson was seen straight away.The staff working in reception nurses x- Ray department were kind fast and efficient. I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone in future.

Fantastic experience at minor injuries. Everyone we came into contact with was kind, caring, reassuring and professional. The injury entailed a number of visits and each time the reception staff were welcoming and very efficient, even remembering our names. We saw a number of HCAs and nurses who were all amazing, giving exemplary care. They also sent photos and spoke to doctors at John Radcliffe and then called us with their advice to ensure we got the best treatment.. The injury required treatment at JR after which there were some issues which the staff at Townlands again assisted with meaning we saw a number of different staff over 6 days. All the staff we met were amazing and we would like to thank them all for their care and kindness.

I recently visited the Minor Injuries Unit at Townlands with a bleeding finger caused by a cricket ball. I was seen with 15 minutes by a fantastic nurse - she recommended an x-ray which happened with 15 minutes (again, lovely people in x-ray). Found a couple of minor breaks and sorted everything with another 30 minutes. So well organised and such nice, friendly, competent people. Can't thank them enough.

Took my elderly mother to have a BCC removed from her neck. Reception staff were welcoming, appointment & operation were both on time & speedy. Cafe ladies were friendly. Surgeon & nurses were lovely & mum quite enjoyed herself, after getting nervous before she came! Thank you to all the staff for making our experiencing enjoyable & efficient.

From arrival to departure, a very pleasant experience. The waiting area was spacious with plenty of seating. The receptionist greeted everyone with an exceptionally warm manner. My appointment began in a timely fashion and the doctor compassionately and patiently took my history before giving good explanations about my next steps and options.

Everyone at the minor injuries unit was incredibly kind, helpful and supportive. I was seen and referred to another hospital but called for further advice and staff were very helpful and happy to provide more information and offered to see me again if I wanted further reassurance. Overall great experience and really helped to alleviate all my concerns
