Review titled Terrable

The appointments continuously being cancelled. Turned up for my appointment and was told to wait in wrong waiting room. Two hours later I was told that the dentist had gone home and my appointment was cancelled. Then I was given a appointment tent for the 24th of August and then cancelled one week later. I am hopefully seeing a dentist next week, however the next appointment is mid October. This treatment of patients is what you would expect from a a third world country. Very, very annoyed with this service and the blatant disregard for the patients wellbeing. I would not recomend this dental hospital. Hopefully eventually I will recieve the treatment I require and then try to forget this experience. Somthing needs to be done as a matter of urgency especially for those who are less fortunate than myself who are suffering from tooth pain. I understand the NHS are at bursting point at present but the administration and management within this hospital need to somehow stop such happenings.

Review titled Super efficient

My son had a tooth extraction at this dental practice yesterday and all of the nurses were very professional and kind. At the initial talk with the call handler at the beginning which was trying to put him off going there didn’t give us much hope and was very talk down to you attitude. But all faith was replaced after going there as they were marvellous from start until the end. A massive thank you.

Review titled Impossible to contact by phone
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Lee Carroll - Posted on 22 February 2023
I was told my constructive treatment would start in September 2022 however I had no contact. I rang them and it’s virtually impossible to contact them waiting hours on phone no response. It’s now February 2023 no letters or update why my treatment delayed. They agreed that they would carry out treatment as my previous composite approx 7 years earlier was failing and teeth chipped broken etc. My local dentist referred me as they said the hospital would need to carry out treatment. All I want is a conversation to when my treatment will start and appointment? How can I get one if you don’t answer the phone. Don’t blame or make excuses. If you are operating then you must have contact etc

Review titled Can't make an appointment
Rated 2 stars out of 5

Received a letter to phone the booking line to make an appointment for my son and every time I ring to do this, there is no answer. The letter states 28 days to make an appointment but how can I make one if your staff aren't answering the phones?? Shocking!

After 47 minutes on hold to the main number I was told I would be transferred to the paedatric dentistry department. After another 1 hour and 59 minutes on hold, my call was cut off. Previous reviews make clear this is a routine rather than unusual experience; please use the time you would normally take to respond defending this appalling service to actually speak to patients and their carers.
