Review titled Really impressed with the whole process
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Ellie - Posted on 05 April 2024
I was referred to the dental hospital for a tooth extraction - my back molar was likely unsuitable for a root canal. It did take about a year from referral to being invited for a consultation appointment. The consultation was efficient and the dentist was thorough and courteous, explaining all the options available. The extraction was booked for a few weeks later. Again, I found the dental team to be kind and thorough as they took on the task of extracting a very stubborn tooth. Very pleased and thankful for the service.

Review titled Supportive practice

Visiting the dentist and having treatment is really difficult for me due to needle phobia and general anxiety around dentists. I recently had to have 3 rounds of treatment which if it hadn't been for the empathy and support from the staff, I wouldn't have gone through with. They took the time to explain what was happening at each stage and were patient with me when I needed breaks during treatment. I wasn't made to feel stupid or that I was neglecting my dental needs and making things worse which has happened before. As a result my poor dental health has U turned and I don't need to have any further treatment. It was down to the specific staff and their great attitudes that made that happen as well as the thorough dental treatment that I had. Thank you!

After many years of damage done to my teeth providing access for bacteria to my gums - left untreated so that I was always unwell - most were removed - badly fitting dentures were supplied and I was quickly discharged - I am now paying for private treatment to correct the poor standard of work - if you value your teeth keep away from the dental hospital

My treatment was ( is ) worse experience in my life, I was under the treatment with the student, student left and I was left with the pain and not finished treatment, no one is interested to help me with my pain, very difficult to get emergency appointment , some staff very rude if you ask for help, don’t go there if you don’t have to ,

Review titled Excellent service
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was treated by a 3rd year student (Ref nflwld I tried to give feedback but the I pad was not working and have no way of accessing it. My appointment was 11 am 16/3/23 The person who saw me was very engaging and professional. I would not have thought she was a 3rd year student she was much more competent. I was aware throughout what was about to happen. The student was very assured and I would be more than happy to be see by that student again. Please pass these comments on.

Review titled Rudeness
Rated 1 star out of 5

My daughter was sent for an X-ray from the dentist. I had no choice but to bring my baby along to the appointment. He started crying and the receptionists (2 of them) were extremely rude saying shut that baby up. I took him out of the area immediately and on my exit they said thank god that baby has gone. Sadly my daughter had to have an X-ray on her own. Really disappointed to have such poor customer service.
