  1. Review titled Very long delays, many people waiting for hours

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Steve - Posted on 24 June 2024

Very long queues in A & E. Time is 8.58pm at night. We have been here 3 hours and still waiting. Other people before us akso waiting for hours. People stood up inside because little sitting room. People in doorways, outside. No information. People suffering with heat. No airconditioning. People with pain with lack if care, taking too long to see people and treat them.

I was very impressed with the day surgery unit everything went very smoothly and efficiently and all the staff I came into contact with were very helpful, efficient and compassionate. Thank you for making me feel more at ease whilst I was very anxious about my surgery.

  3. Review titled Care and Efficiency and Biscuits

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Philip Brennan - Posted on 13 June 2024

During a long afternoon undergoing removal of a polyp in the Endoscopy Unit, I was treated with care and good humour by everyone I met, from arrival to discharge. I was kept informed and looked after before, particularly during, and after the procedure, with the result that what was basically an unpleasant experience was made bearable. This despite the fact that the unit was dealing with a high volume of activity.

  4. Review titled chapel feedback

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by steve - Posted on 08 June 2024

In the times I visited my mother in Mary Waed, I went to the chapel 3 times to help me cope. All three times it was being used as a break room for the canteen staff sat on the rug on mobile phones.

  5. Review titled Great service.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Wilfred - Posted on 03 July 2024

I Had to have a CT scan and a visit to the Endoscopy unit at Warwick Hospital recently. I must say that all the staff treated me with care, and were very friendly. The staff that carried out the tests, were very reassuring and professional. I think they excelled considering the pressure they are all under. 5*

  6. Review titled Swift process and professional staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 14 June 2024

Everything about the procedure was explain throughly and I was given lots of opportunities to ask questions, and asked if I was OK or needee anything. The staff were all very friendly, chatty and professional. The procedure took as long as described in the appointment letter and the wait was slightly less than described. The report was explained after the procdure and i was asked if.i jad any questions or concerns. Exemplary service just how the NHS should be! Thank you

  7. Review titled Wonderful care of sister with severe learning disabilities

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Sister Sue - Posted on 30 June 2024

My sister has severe learning disabilities and cerebral palsy. She needed an hysterectomy and in patient care. I was very worried about how she would cope but the staff in every department and ward she had contact with were so very caring and understanding of her that my fears were allayed. I was allowed to be with her as much as I wanted and an extra staff member was on duty for her care. Her treatment was above and beyond what I could ever have expected for her. A really marvellous experience. Thank you so very much.

  8. Review titled Very long delays and rude staff.

by Zander - Posted on 25 June 2024

I was waiting in A&E for approximately 12 hours and was told the hospital was getting a bed ready. However, hours later, I was still sitting in A&E when I asked the reception for an update. Having already waited several hours, they could not provide any information and were genuinely rude. There were several patients clearly in distress, crying, screaming with pain, and throwing up and not once did anyone check on them, including one patient who was seemingly passed out in the dept for over two hours before hospital staff checked on their well-being. However, one unempathetic receptionist sat and sang joyfully at the reception desk while many patients were distressed.

  9. Review titled Fantastic service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 04 June 2024

Recently I attended Warwick A&E with chest pains. Within one hour I had my blood pressure taken, an ECG, X ray and blood sample. An hour an a half later I was seen by a GP and given my results. This was a fantastic service and gave me great reassurance when I needed it.

  10. Review titled Great Team Work

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by MRS SHEILA MALIN - Posted on 24 May 2024

The treatment from the pain management team was excellent. From the onset the greeting and efficiency was evident. The male nurse was the perfect person to put you at your ease everything was explained in a clear friendly way. The nurse advised and completed the forms relevant to the procedure her communication was again very good, friendly pleasant and knowledgeable. The procedure was explained as it was performed I knew exactly what was required of me. The Senior nurse was accepting that I did not want sedation The whole of the time I was in the unit there was evidence that the team reassured patients and the treatment was carried out in a friendly reassuring environment.
