Professional and friendly service from first contact, through reception, examination and follow up. Department is a credit to Warwick hospital and the NHS. All staff put me, the patient, at my ease and confident that I was receiving the best treatment possible. Thank you.

  2. Review titled Great service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My husband and I experienced amazing service today in Accident and Emergency the nursing staff were excellent and the determination to diminish my husband’s pain was acute. The surgeon was thorough and we left feeling well cared for and confident to manage his pain at home. When we were told to come ‘straight back’ if the pain grew again was reassuring. Thank you Warwick Accident and Emergency.

  3. Review titled Double Partial Knee Replacement Surgery

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Andrew Finding - Posted on 03 January 2023

I wrote to the hospital's Chief Executive 2 weeks after my surgery following a home visit by the nursing and physiotherapy team to remove the staples from my knees. In my letter I said: I am thrilled with the progress made by your teams for my benefit. Why: • My wait for surgery, just over 3 months, has been as minimal as I would have thought possible; • The doctors, physios, nurses and administrative staff have shown a very high degree of professionalism, efficiency, care, courtesy and cheerfulness; • Precious little time was wasted during my 36 hour stay in your hospital in Warwick with plenty of evidence to show that the processes were completely and effectively integrated; • The ward, Greville, was comfortable, peaceful, clean and appropriate: the food was good too; • The briefings I have received prior to my arrival at the hospital and since have been excellent and helpful: I commend, in particular, the booklet “Your Personal Guide to Knee Replacement”. My experience has been in sharp contrast to the drip, drip of misery of the media's coverage of the NHS. Clearly there are problems and serious challenges. But, it is far from being all bad or broken. I could not have asked for more and want to thank the entire team for my wonderful, professional, kind and thoughtful treatment.

  4. Review titled Amazing service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

We arrived at A&E with our newborn baby on the evening of 21st Nov and were greeted by a very friendly male receptionist. After a brief wait we were seen by a nurse, then a doctor and another nurse and were kept for observations. Every member of the team was extremely professional, understanding and courteous. We were so impressed with the general level of service from start to finish. Thank you NHS.

  5. Review titled Open hearted compassion for all patients

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Thank you Everyone for taking my fear away yesterday - each one of you so full of kindness - I felt the 'esprit de corps' of you all so reassuring as you each took so much care of one small individual in the midst of your hectic overwhelmingly busy schedule. Thank you to Everyone at the Endoscopy Unit for your understanding of how so many of us are coping with the anxiety and stress of the moment and to the Consultant for his dedication and skilled attention. The hidden agenda of loving kindness is so very much appreciated combined with your professionally high standard of care. Thank you to you All.

  6. Review titled Bad experience

Rated 1 star out of 5

I had a car accident after being told I didn’t have any injuries by snotty dr and nurses. I went on to need back surgery then major emergency back surgery a 9 hour operation but nothing wrong with terrible treatment even the consultant were arguing over who took my care on. The dr I was seeing did apologise saying I shouldn’t have heard that. Warwick Hospital need to improve then quality of its staff I understand that the NHS is struggling but you can’t make make mistakes which could have been life changing

  7. Review titled Good experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Andrew Marshall - Posted on 29 October 2022

Visited Minor Injuries yesterday mid morning. I had a double wasp sting and my finger was expanding and really hurting. Over the counter treatments did nothing. I was seen within 15 minutes, treated in a professional and courteous manner, i was embarrassed that it was just a sting. Good explanation of treatment and 24 hours later my finger is responding well. Thank you Team,

Following an operation at Russel Hall hospital on Tuesday I became very poorly and unable to pass urine. I arrived at Warwick A&E on Wednesday morning. I would like to thank everyone concerned with the care and attention that followed until my discharge on the following Saturday 22nd. I was very impressed with everyone of the team!

  10. Review titled Wonderful service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Janetatslots - Posted on 03 October 2022

The staff couldn’t have been kinder. When my lip started bleeding profusely on arrival they quickly got me in and the doctor glued my lip. Two hours later it started bleeding again - a lot. I went back and the same doctor put in a stitch and now I’m fine. Neither visit was above 20 minutes in length. For an elderly lady (I’m 79) it was a horrible afternoon (falling and damaging my lip) but such kind and caring doctors and nurses put me at ease. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
