A& E was a protracted ex[erience but not surprising as very busy. after a long wait moved to general surgery for next day appointment. All of the people who helped me were exceptionally caring and efficient. Thank you so much

I was admitted from A&E to AMU Ward on 20/01/2023 and the service I received was outstanding. Everyone single member of staff went above and beyond to ensure my care and saftey. They all worked extremely hard and never stopped caring for their patients. They showed dignity, respect and care throughout. Thank you

  3. Review titled No communication

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I have an elderly relative who was admitted a week before Christmas. 3 weeks later I still have no idea what is going on! She has been on 2 different wards, she isn't eating or sleeping and everytime I go and visit she has deteriorated. All I want is to be able to speak to someone who can tell me what they are doing for my aunt, I call and get told to ring other numbers ,I ask when I visit and can't get straight answers. They say they've told my aunt what they are doing but she doesn't remember, it's got to the stage where she doesn't know what day or time it is or even when she saw me last. I feel like she's just being left to die!

  5. Review titled Superb care!!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I am writing to express our gratitude for the wonderful care and attention that my sister was given when she attended the hospital yesterday with a back injury. We cannot thank you all enough for taking such good care of her, especially when you are coping with such huge demand . As our family all live in other areas of the country, we were unable to help her and were very worried. The staff are amazing!!I wish I could pin a gold medal on each of you, you so deserve it!!

  6. Review titled The worst organization of the process of receiving patients

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 19 December 2022

Yesterday I was in the west middlesex hospital, I came with pain and urgent situation with my health at 9.30 am. First of all the registration table transferred to me to the doctor and he told me to make a test. After the managers mentioned that I need to wait 7 hours to give my test and maybe the result will be the same day. While I was waiting in the hospital came a huge amount of people, with the huge pain, with children with the high temperature and they needed waiting for 7 hours!!!! to be able to have help!!! It’s something unacceptable! No numbers, no normal system with the queues. Doctors just scream incorrect surnames to the main room. It’s simple to skip your name if you are suffering from the pain. A lot of people set on the floor, no space at all, total mess and chaos. I haven’t seen before such unorganized healthcare system where people with huge pain, temperature, fever set on the floor 7 hours and just waiting for something!!! And it can be even without any results!! It’s really shame and unacceptable work of the leaders of this Clinic and Government control. It should be charged immediately for the best way!

Dear Writer, Firstly may I apologise for the delay in acknowledging or responding to this feedback; we pride ourselves on being responsive to patients and certainly needed to do better when receiving your feedback. The hospital has been extremely challenged over recent months due to the increase in demand and patients attending our Emergency Departments. We are continuing to explore ways to help increase the flow of patients, reduce waiting times but more importantly improve the experiences of every patient who is seen here. It is saddening to read of your experience on this day as well as the experiences you witnessed of other patients. I would welcome the chance to speak or meet with you, so we can discuss this experience in more detail and talk about some of the plans we are trying to implement in the department to reduce similar occurrences. Please contact me if you would be open to speaking or meeting. Best Wishes Matt Robinson - chelwest.patientexperience@nhs.net

  7. Review titled Fantastic drs and nurses

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 December 2022

My daughter was seen in A&E on 7th December after a upsetting mental health episode. She was quickly moved from A&E to a private room next to A&E where she was cared for and looked after by amazing team of Dr's, Nurses and mental health clinicians. The care she recieved was amazing ,they listened to her. helped her and didn't judge her . The mental.health clinician ensured appropriate action was put in place for her on returning home. She was kept in A&E until it was felt she was safe and well enough to leave . She felt safe and comfortable to talk to peolle she didnt know and we were reassured thay things were put in place. We received a phone call the same day from the mental health team to put in next steps for her . The hospital was very busy and the drs were rushed off their feet but we didn't feel the care she received was delayed or rushed in anyway. We were reassured that she can return to A&E if she needs to and lot of resources / contact numbers in case they were needed . The staff that dealt with her that night were brilliant . Thank you
