First time I have been there and from meeting the receptionist, the radiologist and then the consultant was a refreshing experience compared to other Infirmaries. Everyone was extremely polite and helpful and to be actually seen before my appointment time and completing the session so quickly was remarkable. Thank you.

I was seen and treated quickly by a lovely team. I had not been looking forward to the appointment but it was a better experience thanks to the team looking after me.

I attended the cardiac centre for an ultrasound of my heart and examination of my coronary arteries . I arrived at 8 am and was admitted immediately to the ward . I had an ecg and was in theatre by 9 30 and discharged by 1 30pm .The staff were kind and considerate and kept me fully informed both before the procedure and afterwards .I could not have expected a higher standard of care and I am very grateful to all the staff who cared for me .

The service is highly efficient with friendly well trained individuals, that work well as a team. I was seen while on holiday in the area. I was seen quickly and the Doctor was excellent. Thank you.

I received more treatment and care in 90 mins at urgent care than in the 2 months I’ve been faffing around at my gp’s. Everyone was genuinely warm and sympathetic, helpful and efficient. Extremely impressed and grateful. Thankyou

Visit was slick and efficient. Doctor was incrediblle, X-Ray super fast and results and diagnois all done within a coupleof hours. Fantastic team. Thank you.

Just a note to say a thank you to all the kind , helpful and very proffessional staff at Westmorland General Hospital. From the Consutant who saw me and to all the general staff and nurses. It was great to see the Consutants wheeling patients into their clinic. What could have been a difficult experience was ameliorated by all those l came into contact with. A great team. Brilliant, efficient and friendly and professional service from the beforehand telephone call to the recovery & discharge process. I was so worried about having a colonoscopy, but the staff on the day were so kind and reassuring, and so kind, friendly and assured during the actual process, that I can't remember any discomfort or pain whatsoever (also - to anyone reading this , I highly recommend the sedation option as the actual endoscopy only seems to take about 2 minutes!). Thank you so much Endoscopy Team, you are all Fabulous.

Was taken in 29th. All the staff were most kind. My case was diagnosed as possibly serious. Despatched by ambulance to Barrow very quickly. Really appreciate the care I was given.

As a regular patient at Kendal for dialysis, I have gotten to know quite a few members of the staff at Kendal. I would like to point out the really great staff at the general office, they are always very pleasant and extremely helpful, even down to the traffic officer. I can't thank them all enough for all the help they have given me over the years even more so recently with my health getting worse. Nothing is to much trouble for them. They deserve the recognition, every single person in that front office are a credit to your hospital. Thank you so much...
