All staff in this department were extremely efficient and I was attended to really quickly. Bloods and urine were checked and then an xray. The doctor explained everything to me as he went through each procedure and put me at my ease. Couldn't recommend him highly enough. Excellent service from NHS and staff at Westmoreland Urgent Treatment Department.

I took my mother in law to UTC She was was seen really quickly and had blood tests x rays etc. The staff were brilliant. They were efficient and extremely kind. Thank you to all the staff.

Was in and out within about an hour, I was glad of the service offered as I had an injury needing cleaning, dressing and a tetanus booster. Lovely staff & very professional.

I attended WGH today with blood pressure problems and during my time there the staff were so kind, caring and helpful. Thank you to all concerned, you're a great team and an asset to the area. I'm very grateful for all your help.

Attended for my little boy after ringing 111. We were seen quickly and all the staff were friendly. The doctor took time to explain the outcome and what to do if things change. The pathway seemed to work seemlessly from reception, triage, obs taken and seeing the doctor. A great service to have in Kendal.

I was so well treated by so many friendly staff I was made to feel like a v i p and throughout the day there was always someone there to reassure me. As an nervous older patient I could not have asked for better treatment from everyone. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. Well done everyone

After arriving anxious of what was to come, the receptionist, nursing staff and colonoscopy team couldn’t have been warmer and have made me feel any more comfortable that I was in good hands. Amazing people doing an amazing job

I have a departmental letter from you. It does not give a phone number or e-mail address. Your website does not give departmental phone numbers - nor an e-mail address. I phoned the one 'general' number I have for you - and got through to the right department but in the wrong hospital (Lancaster). I really think you ought to consider your *clients* interest in providing simple ways to contact departments by phone and by e-mail.

My mum came for an appointment regarding hip replacement, December 2022 she was offered an injection to help during the waiting time. This took place. When she next saw the consultant in May she had deteriorated, and told she had been missed from the list, 6 months of waiting not even on a list appalling! Now July 2024 and still not had operation even though requires mobility scooter to get about. No apology for missed from list and very unhelpful staff when we phone to ask how long she will wait. Living in pain all the time has taken its toll on mums mental health and yet no one appears to care. A very unhappy family with care and support given.
