Review titled Great Service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Roger - Posted on 27 September 2024
I was referred to the ENT Emergency Clinic for immediate review and treatment. Everything went very smoothly and the audio testing and follow up consultation were excellent. A vast improvement on a previous visit two years ago to A & E.

Visit to A&E with my special needs son. Was absolutely dreading the visit. But from the time we arrived every member of staff were very understanding of my son’s needs, and made the visit stress free and as easy as they possibly could. Thank you Wexham Park you were amazing

Review titled Wonderful Care & Treatment
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Allan - Posted on 17 August 2024
I’m a 73 year old NZ citizen who was on holiday in Slough when I attended Wexham Park Emergency Department on the night of Saturday 10 August, with acute urine retention. Hospitals often get negative feedback in my country so I was amazed at the; prompt, personable and expert treatment I received from all hospital staff I encountered at Wexham Park. The triage nurse who first saw me, the senior nurse who inserted a catheter and the junior doctor who tested my prostate, were all extremely positive and professional, and instilled me with the highest confidence that they were doing the very best for me ….as did the senior doctor who saw me on the Sunday morning. As well, all other staff who looked after me during my stay were; respectful, competent and pleasant. I returned home a couple of days later with the highest respect for your country’s NHS and Wexham Park Hospital in particular!

by Jaspreet - Posted on 09 July 2024
Thank you to the A&E Dr and nurses (it will not let me add names but there was 3 of you) who was on shift on the 08th July for being kind and looking after me when I came in with high fever. You done your best to make sure that I was as comfortable as I could be despite feeling very poorly and in a lot of pain I was looked after very swiftly once I arrived. Thanks for being kind and caring towards people when they feel most vulnerable.

Review titled PALs Department
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by MR KEN WILKINS - Posted on 11 June 2024
My 98 year old father spent over 3 weeks in the hospital in the Frailty Unit, who were superb. He was discharged but had another fall so was brought back to the hospital. Throughout both admissions, the PALs team have been the epitome of kindness, care and consideration. They have been so supportive and have always been there to help me find out what's going on with Dad when I couldn't get through to wards and had been promised call backs that never came. I dealt with A first who went out of her way to find answers for me and, more recently, the wonderful lady, who deserves a medal! Thank you PALs - you are amazing! Way beyond the call of duty at times - your support means so much to me and the family.

Just wanted to say, how wonderful my Practitioner was, very pleasant and efficient. My diagnosis and treatment was very quickly sorted. I was in and out of hospital in an hour and a half. Thank you to all the staff, you were all so happy and constantly smiling.

Review titled So very pleasantly surprised
Rated 5 stars out of 5

After a visit to an excellent Consultant at Heatherwood hospital, I needed a procedure requiring day surgery that was performed at Wexham Park. I am so impressed at the care and attention I was given from everyone I encountered at all stages and levels, from the extremely thorough pre op assessment process to the nursing team in the day surgery unit and all those involved in the actual surgery, all of whom were professional, reassuring and kind and I would like to thank you all so much for everything.

Review titled Rubbish service lack of communication and transparency

My wife was rushed via Ambulance to wph we arrived no one saw her for 2 hours then she was seen by a nurse who only took her bp and stats then in the waiting area she developed chest pain I’m a jr dr myself for background I raised this with the front of house team who seem unbothered by this which is detrimental to patients care I politely asked for a dr or nurse to do an Ecg we then were told we have to wait following this we were waiting almost another hour I then went up again then was told knock on the nurses door I did so she then came out after 15 mins they did an ecg then we were sent back to the waiting area she was then called for a blood test I was told I can’t go in with her despite me being in the room with all the other clinicians I find this unacceptable she was the cannulated without consent
