    Left lots of urgent messages the colon rectal cancer dept, no one responds and no one answers the telephone. I needed another fast tracked appointment but no respond for past 6 months... Additionally, I have had other appointments that have changed many times, hence, I am not informed in time and thus, waste another expensive journey and experience more distress and anxiety. I have several messages cancelling all of my delayed appointments for the diabetes departments to no avail. Yet, the incompetent admin team can waste time and funds on a letter to state I did not attend my appointment when in fact the previous appointments had been cancelled....usual dilemma.... There are no proper care or professional qualified staff at first glance and the A & E is still a real unhealthy area to be in...up to 7 to 10 hours wait is impractical! Never ever again as I have been traumatised with some stays in various wards as well as other departments. other appointments

    I just want to thank you to all clinicians involved in seeing my child today. It was quite embarassing for him as affected his private areas, but the profesional approach, sensitiveness and all treatment given, all us with a very positive experience. Thank u all!

    I went to Ophthalmology A&E at about 11.30am with a very painful eye. Within 2 hours I had been seen by two nurses and a doctor. The problem was diagnosed and I was given medication. Very efficient staff and dept.

    Exceptional Care and Efficiency at Whipps Cross Hospital's A&E and Minor Injuries Unit Rating: ★★★★★ I recently had the unfortunate experience of fracturing my ankle, which led me to seek immediate medical attention at Whipps Cross Hospital's Accident and Emergency (A&E) and Minor Injuries Unit. I must say that my first-ever visit to this facility left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a clean and well-organized environment. The staff at Whipps Cross Hospital's A&E were truly amazing in their helpfulness and professionalism. They swiftly processed my details, ensuring that I didn't have to wait for an extended period. What truly stood out was the remarkable efficiency exhibited by the hospital. Despite the busy atmosphere, I was amazed to be seen, x-rayed, and diagnosed within a mere two hours. The fact that my fractured ankle was promptly attended to gave me great reassurance during a time of distress. Not only was the medical care I received exemplary, but the staff also displayed genuine empathy and compassion. They took the time to explain the diagnosis and treatment options, answering all my questions with patience and clarity. Their warm and caring approach truly made a difference and helped alleviate my anxiety. Whipps Cross Hospital's A&E and Minor Injuries Unit undoubtedly exceeded my expectations. The dedication and skill of the medical staff, combined with their efficiency and attentiveness, ensured that my visit was as smooth and comfortable as possible.     My Dad had developed a sudden eye infection and was quickly seen to by the doctors. He didn’t have to wait too long and the nurses were also very professional. They gave him eye drops and gels to treat his right eye. Thankyou for delivering a great service. I was able to take him home to rest and he was saying how helpful the staff were.

    I had to go to A & E on Saturday 8/7/23 due to a bad cut finger, arrived at 12.30pm seen stitched up by 1.45pm and was home by 2.30pm. I cannot thank the nurse in Minors for her attention and the way she dealt with my finger. The staff at Whipps Cross work under very stressful situations but are always friendly and nothing is too much. They deserve the pay rise. The are truly Angels.

    When I left accident and emergency after I broke a bone in my foot I was given a paper notifying me I had a follow up phone consultation booked for Friday. The next day I received an email informing me I had an in-person appointment for the same time. I was pleased and made babysitter arrangements and took a taxi in the day. When I arrived they told me it was a “technical glitch” and my appointment was indeed virtual. So now I am sitting outside of the hospital, and it is 15 minutes past the time for either of those appointments, and I haven’t spoken to anyone virtually or been seen, and I wasted my money and time, to make my difficult way here with a broken foot for nothing.

    Attended yesterday evening. Quite busy. Well organised. All staff pleasant. Doctor very nice, engaged, sympathetic and communicated well. Received some treatment and left with further medication. Suggested improvements:- Louder patient calling system for reception staff as currently things are slowed down by some patients not hearing and having to be called many times. A couple of beds or trolleys for patients to wait on if the are feeling really ill. Thank you
