  1. Review titled Very Disappointing

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Nikki - Posted on 12 August 2024

I regret, I cannot say that my four days' experience at the WHH (A&E, then in the Ward) was an eperience I would recall with pleasure. Therefore, I, personally, would not recommend this hospital to friends or family!

Dear Nikki, Thank you for passing on your feedback. I am so sorry that you had such a bad experience. Would you mind contacting my team's email address which is ekhuft.patientvoice@nhs.net and giving a bit more clarity regarding why you wouldn't recommend our Trust. It would help so we can improve our services and hopefully yours should you attend our hospitals again. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards Josh Page (Patient Feedback Co-Ordinator)

  3. Review titled Superb treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Tony Buttler - Posted on 13 August 2024

The treatment I received from the time that the support volunteer arrived in advance of the ambulance on the afternoon of 27 July to my discharge on 6 August was superlative. Every one of the medical staff that attended me performed in the most professional way and cheerful manner. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you.

sorry its so late! but on the 15th august of 2013- the a/e consultant on that shift saved my life. I had a brain bleed from a ruptured avm. she asked my husband if I could be in a research trial for stopping bleeding- and it worked. I am now 11 years after the horror of this episode and will forever be grateful for her care and all of the hcp's that assisted her. I am so thankful- thank you -irena chojnacka ( it happened on the 15/8/2013) A day I will never forget ....It has changed my life and I have only you and your fabulous team to say a great big thank you for all you did in saving my life x

  5. Review titled Totally useless

by Paula Bottone - Posted on 23 August 2024

I was in a mental crisis last night. I was phoned by a doctors and was told that I should go to the William Harvey hospital. I arrived and was triaged and was told that I was to have a wound dressed and speak to a member of the mental health team. What a complete load of rubbish. I was waiting and kept on asking and was told the doctor would be 10 minutes. I am also autistic and have adhd. This was not taken into consideration. 6 and a half hours later, the mental health room, which happens to be in the rapid assessment area ,began to fill up with patients which I was not comfortable, so without questioning I left the hospital and returned home. It is now 8.50am and I'm feeling worse than before I went in. The hospital is a disgrace and should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. I will never trust them again and it's an absolute shambles

  6. Review titled Caring a&e female doctor

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 22 July 2024

We visited a&e yesterday 21/07 (it was my birthday!) We saw a young female doctor at the end of her long shift. She spent around 30 minutes, listening, talking and recommending treatment for my long illness. I had recently spent three weeks at whh & four days at k&c. She was caring, warm & professional throughout, a real credit to the NHS! Thank you young woman, your honest & kind support, really makes a difference, you’re a credit to your profession. I hope that you had a pleasant evening. Many thanks.

  7. Review titled Efficient, kind experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Teresa - Posted on 18 July 2024

Had hysteroscopy under general anaesthetic and can’t fault the experience. The staff were friendly even though very busy. The doctor went out of her way to explain the findings and the anaesthesiologist was excellent especially as I have underlying issues making anaesthetic more risky. Recovery swift and a comfortable environment. Thank you!

  10. Review titled Superb treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Jeff Williams - Posted on 17 June 2024

Really great treatment when it was needed. Despite the pressure from the pressure of incoming patients the staff were very cheerful no matter what they had to deal with. Quickly settled on a trolley and made sure I was comfortable, doctor soon had a look and was sent through to majors, where again brilliant care was experienced. the nurses were angels and deserve every penny they earn.
