  1. Review titled Absolutely amazing

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Couldn’t rate this place more highly even if I wanted to. From the phone calls to booking the appointment to the actual assessment itself everything went smoothly. Everyone I came into contact with was so polite, professional and supportive even the DR that ran my assessment was outstanding and patient with me, I felt at so much ease thought the entire thing. I got my assessment report very quickly as well, overall great experience and my only regret is that I didn’t find them sooner. Outstanding team of people.

  2. Review titled Poor communication/organisation

Rated 1 star out of 5

One of the traits for my daughters ADHD is anxiety and frustration caused by being messed around. She is not a fan of zoom and i have had to spend time reassuring her that she will be fine. As outline below, when the company supposedly assessing her is adding to her trigger points then I find this very poor. When they rang to book an appointment they had to cancel and rearrange as they had booked the wrong type. I was told someone would ring me back. They didn’t. I had to chase this. In the initial call I specifically asked how it worked. I was told it was via zoom and we’d get sent a meeting link. They also said we would have to fill in a questionnaire. I asked about the teachers one as she had just finished school and was told not to worry and that she would find out for me and get back to me. The appointment is this week and I have been sent a reminder that it has not been done. Yet I am still waiting for them to get back to me. The original person said that I would need to be present for the first part of the meeting and the second says I don’t. With all that had gone on I am unsure of who to believe. For some reason they have also decided to change the spelling of my name and there is no way for me to alter it. So as I need to prepare my daughter I have just checked and there is no meeting code that has been emailed. Really not happy with the service so far.

  3. Review titled Nil professionalism

Rated 1 star out of 5

I received my phone call follow up this evening. The mental health nurse was 10 minutes late and spent exactly 5 minutes on the phone to me. She was unprofessional and completely disinterested. She was patronising, did not give me any helpful advice and disappeared off the phone before I had the time to ask for a copy of the report. I am a mental health nurse myself and would have been on time for my client, and definitely have given more information and time to them.

  4. Review titled Inexperienced practitioners

Rated 1 star out of 5

Awful experience. Misdiagnosed, which was confirmed after getting other members of our family diagnosed correctly by reputable NHS testing (which is more extensive) and then finally having an NHS test myself. Clinical Partners told me that “because I didn’t have delayed speech in childhood” I couldn’t be “fully autistic”. I don’t think there was any malice but that their practice was just a bit backward. The whole process was also quite chaotic (booking, getting the report). The smoothest element was them taking the fee, which seems to be their primary goal rather than quality of assessment type/up to date practice. I wish I’d never spent money with this practice and would urge anybody considering it to check out other practices if needing to go private.

Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. My name is Rae and I am the Strategic Partnerships Manager for Clinical Partners. I sincerely apologise for the challenges you faced during your assessment at Clinical Partners. I understand how disheartening it must be to feel misdiagnosed, and I truly appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. We work closely with the NHS and privately to provide accurate and clinically robust autism and ADHD assessments, where our experienced clinicians utilise the best diagnostic tools available, the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R) and the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2). However, I acknowledge that this approach did not meet your expectations in this instance, and I’m truly sorry for any distress this has caused. Your feedback is invaluable as we strive to improve our services, particularly regarding the smoothness of the booking process and the delivery of reports. We are committed to enhancing our support to ensure a better experience for all our patients. If there’s anything further I can assist you with or if you would like to discuss your experience in more detail, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly at rae@clinical-partners.co.uk. Your well-being is important to us, and I’m here to support you. Thank you once again for your insights. Warm regards, Rae Strategic Partnerships Manager

  5. Review titled Very positive experience

Having waited years for my son to be formally diagnosed, we like many others chose to go private instead. Our experience was very different to the other reviews I've read. The team was great with us. We were dealt with compassionately and efficiently throughout the whole process.

  6. Review titled Very poor customer experience

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 15 November 2022

The kind, expert psychiatrist who diagnosed my son with ADHD has been let down by chaotic back-office management; Clinical Partners lack even the most basic guides as to how the process of getting a prescription will work, let alone taking delivery of the actual medication. This has meant that my son was mistakenly billed for the prescription (purely an admin fee) that should have been included with his consultation, and it looks like he's paid for his medication twice. Medication, by the way, that has still failed to materialise despite a promise of '5 to 7 days delivery'. If you look at their website too, you'll see that they've craftily displayed their Trustpilot ranking as 5 stars, when in fact all they've done is publish an individual review - their true ranking sits at 3.9 out of 5, which is very poor for an organisation like this, especially one dealing with mental health and wellbeing. My advice would be to exercise cauton when dealing with this company.
