You get that call from an elderly parent in the middle of the night and your heart sinks. After talking to 111, Dad was given a home visit in the night by them. I didn't realise that they are the local company owned by all the GP practices, but do now. They were fantastic. The staff were brilliant, within a couple of minutes of hanging up from 111 they rang. From letting us know when to expect them, keeping us informed and arrived just when they said they would. He was checked over, they are super caring not just with Dad but with us all and realised how worried we were. He never had to leave home, nor go to the hospital and they arranged directly with my GP further tests. A very relieved family, thank you. I will be telling my GP that they have to advertise this more. Now I know it is there we feel much more assured. thank you to the lady that came out and sorry I did not take your name.

I had minor surgery on my right thigh to remove a growth. My procedure was explained to and the do's and don'ts post surgery were fully explained. The Doctor and nurses were friendly, very pleasant and epitomised the excellent service we get from the NHS.
