It’s safe to say, this is an ucc that the public should stay away from. Having been misdiagnosed by one of the nurses and nearly losing my arm as I had sepsis, I am beyond distraught. After presenting here with an extremely overly swollen finger that was turning black causing me severe pain, I was made to wait 6 hours before seeing someone. I then saw a nurse to be told I was fine & had no infection in my finger (though my finger was swollen and turning black). After presenting to a hospital, qualified staff had informed me that I had sepsis and my finger was dead. I was advised by the nurse at Beckenham beacon to wait 4 days & present to a GP, if no better. Had I listened to his advice, the surgeon who performed my surgery, said I would have lost my arm due to the sepsis starting to travel. Having brought this to managements attention (As Greenbrook manage beckenham beacon ucc) , they seem to not care and just leave you hanging. They have left me no choice but to warn the public of the misdiagnosis and distress they have caused. This is not something I’d want anyone else to go through or worse.
