Review titled Completely pointless service.

I decided to try to use this service today. I was delighted to receive a same day online appointment. I followed all the instructions and awaited my call. As instructed I logged in and waited. I put all my work on hold and transferred all calls. Livi did not call but sent a message saying the were running late and they would try to call within the hour. The hour has past and I have had no call nor any indication of when they may call. So I now need to call my GP for a real appointment to get medical support I need. I have wasted the morning for nothing. I will delete the app

Have used Livi several times now, get an appointment the same day, always had a considerate doctor and prescription issued immediately. Far far better than the service I get with my local GP. Can’t fault Livi, it’s a blessing.

First ever experience with the Livi Ap was amazing. The GP got me a hospital referral for a serious eye condition. Both the 2nd and 3rd consultants never happened. Due to system glitches I.e first one was a GP who had logged off and wasn't working. Next one never allocated me a GP even after 45 mins after appointment time. Have now moved my GP Practice to a different surgery in Swindon where they have more GPs and are a Group. After 24years with my current Practice the Livi Ap was a modern alternative but it does not replace getting a face-to-face physical where someone can actually look in your throat or eye.

My appointment has been moved thrice now on the Livi app which is really frustrating. Like everyone else I gave a job too and can’t manage so many changes. The first appointment was around my working hours but after that it was changed multiple times which is not great.

Was told to make a telephone appointment to discuss test results for an issue which is effecting my everyday life and have been trying to help for months. The call was 1 hour late, luckily I work from home but I still couldn’t not work whilst waiting for the call. Once I was on the call the doctor had not read into any of my history and simply said what my test result was and she will prescribe tablets, this could have easily been sent over a text. When I asked how this is related to my condition because what the doctor explained gave no help or explanation she simply said I’m not sure I think it’s something completely different. I then asked her how I should go about trying to continue to figure out what is wrong and she just said to do blood tests again in a month after I take the tablets, I then reminded her that she had told me that this result is in no way linked to my condition and she said you need to speak to your doctor again then…. Although I don’t have a consistent doctor I see a new person every time, it’s like starting again every appointment, I have been suffering for so long and this call after being an hour late made me feel confused and upset as she offered no guidance, you can tell they are agency and do not care about patients they are there to read your result prescribe a vitamin which I could have worked out and offer no advice or guidance on any long term or previous issue which the tests were actually done for.

When the Livi service was first introduced, I switched a number of family members onto the service. Apart from having to chase for a prescription to come through, it has worked well. In the early days when not so many people had signed up to the app, I always got to speak with someone the same day. Recently, it was 2-3 days for a call back. However, when I tried last week I was told that Livi no longer works with my local GP practice, and I know have to pay to use the service. I spoke with my GP who said that most surgeries are moving away from the service. So, if you can still obtain it for free, it's useful, but I suspect their plan all along was to get people used to the service, before switching their business model over to a pay-as-you-go service.

I had my first Livi video call last night with a female GP to discuss some changes in health. She was very helpful, friendly and informative. She also prescribed me some pain relief in the meantime to try amongst other options. Although I now need to try and book in again at my surgery (which was almost impossible, hence having the Livi appointment) I felt this was very helpful and has reassured me in the mean time! Thank you.

Tried to book appointment to see my Doctor at Oak Tree surgery at Liskeard. Telephoned first, then directed to go online, which going through the process, directed us to download the Livi App. This was achieved on a modern iphone with good reception. Livi sent a code to confirm a video consultation. Every time the code was entered, an error notice was flagged up, saying error please try again. No matter how many times to repeat this process and re-installing the app, the same error occurs. So, unable to get help from the NHS.

Have had appointment rescheduled just before its due 3 times and next date is a week after the 1st. I could have had an appointment at the surgery by this time.

I have made 2 bookings with Livi. The first just didn't happen, no explanation. The 2nd. (today) seemed to be on track, I was contacted, sound and camera checked, and then --- nothing. I am not being allowed to make another booking.
