We called 999 for a medical emergency to an Stage 4 patient and the crew that arrived where very reluctant to take him to the preferred treatment hospital as “it’s double the paperwork”, “based on mileage” and “is out of their area”! It was also noticed that family have to assist the transfer of the patient from his bed to the crews chair…… perhaps being their first call of the day, they hadn’t fully woken up. As it turns out the closest hospital, is the preferred one, lucky us as he may have been dumped at the end of the road if it caused them too much inconvenience. Absolutely devastated that the crew could be so unprofessional.

My mother who has to attend Hospital appointments regularly has experienced horrendous transportation delays in the past. For a 99 year old a 10 hour wait was beyond the pale! We therefore booked Medi 4 and the whole process from initial enquiry to being returned home was easy, faultless, reassuring, friendly and professional. We can thoroughly recommend them and will definitely be using the again.
