  1. Review titled Disgusting service

Rated 1 star out of 5

Where to begin! No replies to the online forms, over a week for a change of sick note and extend, literally a 2 minute job if that! Making the reason for been off worse when getting ignored! When you do try to call only open from 11-3 what the hell is that about! If this was any other job youd get the sack for treating people how you do! No wonder the NHS is going down the pan!

  2. Review titled Hopeless!

Skipton practice fall short in everything they do or rather not do. Not sure why or how Modality are in the business of 'careing' for people. As for the overly long discourteous message when you call and the repetitive one while the music blares at you while you are number 30 in the queue - no call you back service any more now!!

  3. Review titled Prescription frustrations

by Mr Angry! - Posted on 24 April 2023

Sat on the phone for over an hour, to be told I needed to call back in the morning. Currently have one tablet left on my prescription - for some reason a medication review has put me ordering another prescription on hold - this is not helpful at all. I do not need a review.

  4. Review titled Appalling Service

Rated 1 star out of 5

Been in agony with my neck and shoulder. Has previous shoulder surgery in 2016. Sent for a scan in October 2022 and couldn’t get an appointment until end of March 2023 to find out results. Constant daily phone calls to be told no appointments and no forward appointments available. Finally get the appointment in March to be told I have compressed discs and an urgent referral being made to joint and skeletal team. It’s now June and nothing. I am in so much pain and it’s near on impossible to get any appointment.

  5. Review titled Awful service!! No appointments!!

Rated 1 star out of 5

Unable to get appointments from Crawley Down surgery. Been trying for over 2 weeks for a routine appointment. Keep being told that they haven't been rereleased yet and that they are only released on a Thursday or Friday! Have been told today that I could go an wait at an UTC if I want to see a DR!!

  6. Review titled Shameful and not fit for purpose

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been a patient of Judges Close since 1984 when good medical care was normal. I have an under active thyroid which requires daily medication. I avoid coming to the GP at all costs but I do require repeat prescriptions. The system in operation at the moment that Modality Partnership run is not fit for purpose. Telling patients there are no appointments, no opportunities to speak with any personnel at the surgery and advising go to hospital, pharmacy or self care work it out yourself isn’t good enough. I know it is fashionable to blame another organisation, the power that be, the government but surely the management should be more than impotent to make changes to the business they run. I do believe it could be simpler as it did used to work in the 80s and surely if the population has grown the answer is more staff not blocking patient access to care. You should be ashamed of the lack of care you offer.

  7. Review titled Terrible service

Have been with my surgery since 1978 since the changes and this company taking over it’s impossible to get to see a GP even though I have a heart condition, no blood tests requested by Cardiologist. Absolutely no care. I tried to get an appointment due to blood in poo was told by the receptionist that it was not an emergency- I ask you with tears in my eyes - what is considered an emergency in their opinion. Plus this company has taken over just about all our surgeries in town so we are leafy with no alternative but to go to A&E which overloads them

  8. Review titled Beyond awful, totally incompetent,

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 March 2023

I was seen by a Dr at Ship street surgery at the beginning of February, my medication was changed and I was told to make an appointment to see her in 3 weeks just to update her on how I was and for her to review my medication, I explained to her that there was no chance of my getting an appointment so was told by her to leave a message with the receptionist and she would get back to me…3 weeks later I tried to get an appointment , I explained why I needed to see/ contact my doctor and she refused saying as I have a heart problem I have to go to A&E, Explained yet again to her I was not an emergency just needed the doctor to review my new medication, again she refused saying they were not able to take messages for the doctors as they were so busy. She told me to go to the walk in centre at Crawley hospital, ring 111 or go to A&E, I told her that was ridiculous as I wasn’t acutely sick just needed a prescription for whatever the doctor wanted to prescribe for me….suddenly the line went dead, Following her advice I rang the walk in centre ,explained the situation to them and they ask me if I was winding them up, assured them I was not and I was only following their advice, They couldn’t believe what I had told them… Since becoming Part of the Modality Group Ship St Surgery has gone from being the best practice in town to the worse,

  9. Review titled Website errors

Rated 3 stars out of 5

The website for the 4 Modality Mid-Sussex sites locates them all in Burgess Hill. There is nobody to contact for this kind of misinformation. Telephoning the practice requires the patience of a saint.

  10. Review titled Uncontactable

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Paul Tingey - Posted on 17 July 2023

Since Modality took over my GP practice the wonderful people who work there have been rendered Uncontactable by the modality systems. Such a shame as the staff really are great if you can get to see them.
