Review titled Online booking service unreliable

I called the service to get an appointment and the automated hold voice directs you to book online for an appointment within 48 hours. So, I did this instead of waiting on hold. It’s now been 11 days and I have yet to be contacted via email or phone. Luckily I am only 3 weeks pregnant but to only send a confirmation email is anxiety inducing. I’ve instead had to search for another local clinic who answered straight away and booked my consultation within 5 days. If you are close to 6 weeks you can’t rely on this service and from my experience the booking online option was completely useless.

Takes a long time to get through, didn't receive a callback from a nurse, chased and was advised to call 111 or use my own private health insurance as their nurses are busy. Considering the nature of the service, and how it is sold, they're really underperforming.

I submitted the online form for a callback on the 5th of September, I've also called twice and been told 48hrs. I'm not sure about your maths skills since they're obviously as great as your ability to use the phone. 48hrs was 13 days ago. Fyi. I'm sure you'll use the excuse of not being able to find a record - don't worry I have the emailsd, then the excuse of covid 4 years later, then staffing issues ... And whatever else you can come up with not to have done the bare minimum. Honestly I'm appalled by having to write this review especially when the decision to even attempt to contact you was hard enough. I'd like to make a formal complaint and will be involving pals.

I had a vasectomy procedure at their Maidstone clinic. They whole visit from start to finsh was just over an hour, with the procedure itself only about 15 minutes. I felt in safe hands and was very well looked after throughout by the MSI team.

I was very nervous about my appointment but the phone staff, reception staff and all the nurses that I seen on the day were so helpful, calm and friendly, it made everything so much easier and kept my mind at ease. The nurses couldn't do enough for you and were always checking in to see if I was ok which I thought was very professional and nice. Thank you again for such a great service you should all be very proud of the work and help you do on a daily basis to all clients.

Review titled Left with infection with no after care treatment when asking for help

Give me the medicine for abortion. 5 days later experienced infection symptoms: pain all over my muscles, back, throbbing headache, feeling faint. The aftercare treatment line for MSI choices, refused to help me said it was covid and said go your gp. Despite not having viral symptoms only infection. The lady from msi laughed at me sarcastically with no care, when I asked why I wasn’t being treated for infection after them giving me abprtion treatment. She told me she is a medical professional and laughed over and over when explaining I was suffering to do my daily activities or get gp support quick enough with infection symptoms. I know this was not correct, and now being treated with antibiotics for infection they left me nearly to die. They are quick enough to post tablets but not quick enough to provide any after care treatment. Be aware as this was very scary to go through and with no support from the helpline

The lady who did my consultation was so lovely, friendly, reassuring and helpful. I was unsure of what to do and after speaking to her for around an hour, I knew what I wanted to do. She was completely nonjudgmental and kind. I really appreciate all of the help, reassurance and compassion that was given. I decided to continue my pregnancy and MSI made sure I was completely supported by other healthcare professionals. Thank you so much, you made a tough time better.

I already have a toddler and my husband and I had decided to only have one child, so when I became pregnant accidentally, I knew getting an abortion was the only logical choice for me. It was important for both my mental and physical wellbeing. I opted for a medical abortion. The entire process was pretty speedy and there was plenty of information available about how to take the pills. The potential side effects were also outlined in detail which gave me courage to know what to expect. Thankfully, things went smoothly and I only had minimal cramping. I would highly recommend this service to anyone choosing to have an abortion.

Phoned to book a vasectomy and lady couldn’t even take my details - put me on hold for 20 minutes then said she would transfer me to someone else - another 15 minutes on hold before I hung up and decided to use someone else that I would be comfortable allowing to operate on my when they can’t even organise the booking process or have staff that know the process for private bookings.

I had a medical abortion at home. My overall experience with MSI was very positive. Really quick and I was treated with the utmost respect. I made the first phonecall on a Friday Afternoon, had my telephone consultation 2 days later on the Sunday, then received my pills 2 days later on the Tuesday. So overall time from making first phone all to receiving the pills was 4 days. Being able to have the abortion in the comfort of my own home was really important to me. I rang the aftercare line a couple of times with questions and the nurses I spoke to were very helpful and reassuring. My overall experience was quick and straight forward. I would definitely recommend MSI choices.
