Referral to next practitioner was poor, with lack of transparent ownership of roles. Valuable time lost in progressing treatment.

Their website states '6 months for a procedure, try 6 weeks' this is completely wrong. It's more like 6 months. I was referred via an NHS hospital, after 3 months on their list. OHG booked me a consultant appointment fairly quickly albeit far from my house which I understood but thought it would be worth it to get the surgery I desperately need. Initially, things seemed promising. The consultant seemed great, an expert in their field and I was hopeful, then weeks turned into months and I'd heard nothing. Their website states a date for surgery will be given 4-6 weeks after the consultation, I only got a date 13 weeks after mine and only because the secretary at my GP practice intervened otherwise I would still be waiting this time last years as they ignored my email but unsurprisingly rang the same day once the GP practice called them. Then the hospital they'd booked my surgery at refused to treat me due to a mild platelet disorder with is their unfair, discriminatory decision not OHG, I know but OHG delayed informing me of this. Now I'm going though untellable anguish, on tenterhooks not knowing yet if their only other hospital will agree to see me. If they reject me, I don't know what I'll do, I have suffered immeasurably for years and my pain is worsening. This is my last chance. The prospect of going back to square 1 to the GP after 8 months waiting for this operation is unthinkable. I put a lot of faith into OHG having seen their good reviews. It's devastating to think it may have all been for nothing.

I recently had surgery a full hip replacement, which was my doctor referred me to the Practice One Health. I was amazed to be offered surgery within under 3wks of my initial appointment. My surgery was performed at Thornbury Hospital in Sheffield. From the offset I was made to feel very at ease by all the staff in the hospital, and the private rooms were lovely and comfortable. The staff were just so polite, friendly and very professional throughout my stay. My surgery went really well. And the physio team were just brilliant helping me getting me back on my feet. Even after being discharged they were still sending me exercises through to help my recovery process. I'm very grateful to all the doctors, nurses and staff at Thornbury Hospital and One Health, I finally feel I'm getting my life back.

I was unable to walk without crutches and in great pain for several month. I have had both hips replaced by a surgeon at OneHealth and I am delighted with the results and am now able to walk and I am pain free. I am very grateful and feel I have been given my life back.

From walking in for my first consultation, to my post surgery appointment, i couldn't believe how smoothly it was, and with the highest level of professionalism and dedication. i am now pain free thanks to my wonderful surgeon and his full team. From the girl on reception to the theatre staff, i was treated with respect, kindness and more importantly, dignity throughout my time in Sheffield Thornbury Hospital. "i cannot thank you all enough" seems so easy to say, but from the bottom of my heart , Thank you all.

They do what it says on the tin, from start to finish the staff were all courteous and kind giving all the information they can with forethought and kindness. I'm still not mended but one hopefully I will be.

Striving to secure timely treatment for my health issues led me to One Health and I have now had 3 separate appointments with my allocated consultant, plus 3 procedures at Thornbury Hospital, Sheffield, all on the NHS. Throughout, i have received clear, courteous and informative communications with all concerned and, as hoped for, my treatment has progressed promptly. Whilst not a total success, [ this was always likely to be the outcome ], I have reached this point in a far speedier fashion than I could achieve via the usual NHS route and I now have a future path of treatment/management to follow. Perhaps the most critical success of utilising One Health is that my understand of the issues is significantly greater and moreover, effective pain management can be achieved.

Found it extremely hard to get reliable and relevant information about my condition and what was discussed at meetings wasn’t passed on to me without my persistence on pressing for truthful answers…

I saw a few professionals with One Health, I found some parts of the service better than others, for instance most of the people I saw were very good and I felt they were interested in my problems, on the other hand I felt they were not all like this ,
