I received outstanding expertise, support and care through my CBT therapy programme. I highly recommend Psicon as an excellent therapeutic practice.

My daughter came out of her ADHD assessment feeling very positive about herself and empowered. As a parent, it gave me the reassurance that my daughter will grow up knowing how her mind works and what she needs to put in place to help herself along the way. We are very grateful to have been given such high quality care.

I was referred to Psicon through the NHS for an ASD assessment. I was told the wait would be well over a year. But only 6 months later i received a call to say that i could be seen the following week. This was great. A slight hiccup upon arrival as i had got the address wrong and the receptionist only gave a brief description of where i had to go. Something i struggle with is direction though, so this was not a fault on her part (They have 2 locations on the same road) When i arrived i was greeted by a lovely lady who had some paperwork for me to fill in. I then met with the clinical psychologist, again very lovely and welcoming. She was happy to read some notes i had brung with me that i had wrote myself but also that my mum had wrote too. She was very detailed with questions she asked me and repeated herself if i was unsure of the question. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease, i felt like i was being listened to and understood for the first time. I received my diagnosis that day and am awaiting the full report in the post which should be with me any day now. I would recommend Psicon to anyone who was being referred through the NHS or was willing to pay privately. If i had the funds i would have been happy to pay for this service also.

This is an exceptional service. In these very trying times when it is difficult to even get mental health support, this is a diamond in the rough. Sessions were organised well. The psychologist was outstanding and it was like they knew me after just a couple of sessions. Unlike other services I have used I was not 'told' that I needed to do this or that, everything was a suggestion that I could use if I wanted to work on certain behaviour. I would 100% recommend this service. I feel so much better and am going forward with several tools to keep me mentally healthy. I cannot recommend this service enough.

They treated me like I was a person and demonstrated they treat each individual on a case to case base using treatments tailored to the individuals needs. They listen without judgement offering to treat individuals with even what is generally considered rather complex issue’s which most dr wont even go near trying to have them as a patient. ( I was a heavy user of substances which i used to self medicate and faced a lot of discrimination from healthcare professionals but at psicon they treated me no differently from someone who wasnt an addict).

All practitioners were friendly, understanding and really knowledgeable and informative about autism, but also girls and autism. They managed to put my anxious daughter at ease. They listened carefully, and were responsive to what we were saying. They also gave helpful suggestions to think about with the school and within the family.

From the minute we arrived staff were welcoming and professional. Thank you for listening and helping my son to be as comfortable as possible. You were so attentive to his ways and the consultant, speech and language therapist had extensive knowledge and were able to pick up on things I wasn’t even aware of. The support throughout was amazing, everything was explained in detail and I would defiantly recommend psicon to others. Thank you again.

I had a great experience with Psicon, such lovely and friendly staff, made myself and my son feel welcome and relaxed. Received an official diagnosis for his Autism within a year without any complicated or confusing procedures, and I always felt informed
