I had cataract surgery in September. This involved two visits to SpaMedica in Swansea for the pre. operation assessment and the surgery itself. The operation went well and I am very pleased with the result. A special mention must be made to all the staff that I encountered. They were friendly, welcoming, professional and reassuring.

I went to SpaMedica Colchester four days ago on Monday, 16th September, 2024, to have a cataract operation on my left eye. I was extremely nervous but, as soon as I arrived there, I was made to feel very welcome and reassured. They offered my husband and I tea/coffee and biscuits, and everyone who dealt with me throughout was very kind, helpful and caring. The surgeon, especially, was fantastic and put me at ease. He explained everything and I never felt any pain or discomfort, and the operation was over so very quickly that I couldn't believe it! My distant vision in my left eye is so much better and the colours brighter. Lovely clean hospital and I am actually looking forward to getting my other eye done there in the near future, hopefully by the same surgeon. Thank you all so much, especially the surgeon. First class!!

Excellent customer service, from first entering the clinic to going home. Everything explained, and easy to understand aftercare booklets. All items needed for aftercare provided and explained. The operation explained as being done and great care taken of patient. We had a brilliant experience at our clinic, very lucky to have this medical facility.

From my re feral at the opticians to my visits to SpaMedica the appointments were speedy. they contacted me on holiday to arrange my operation which was 2 days later. From my next appt. was within 5 days for the operation. both were within 6 weeks. everyone was reassuring and professional to make the visit easy as possible.

An excellent service with very professional staff. The procedure was carried out with great care and everything was explained throughout the short op. The service was second to none and would strongly recommend this company to carry out your cataract treatment. No worries during and after the op. Well done SpaMedica. Will use your service for my other eye. Great service.

I was seen at the appointment time and processed with smooth efficiency. The treatment I was to receive was explained fully and I was given opportunities to as relevant questions.. Thrre was very little unecisarybwaiting and the whole cataract operation was conpleted in under two hours.

I was collected in the excellent SpaMedica vehicle and I along with my fellow passengers were taken to the Spamedica hospital in Poole. Our driver was sensitive to those of us that were anxious and did not want to talk but also tactfully answered any question that anyone had about the patient journey. Once at the facility our small group was met and easily absorbed into the process of admittance and then the procedure. At every stage we were dealt with by smiling professionals that cared about us and explained everything. I will be one the recipients of this cataract procedure that will smile to prospective patients and tell them not worry, it is painless and will be over very quickly. Even though I remain a very anxious patient, I will be going back for the second eye to be fixed.

First cataract removed, all the staff were very friendly and the medical staff helped me through as I felt very nervous . Will not be too worried when I return for my second op in the near future

This was my second cataract surgery at SpaMedica ,Truro . As before I received fantastic care from every member of staff involved . Staff were polite,caring and very professional . Any concerns I had were listened to and dealt with . The hospital itself was light airy and very clean .
