The crew arrived on time and were friendly. They treated my father with care and respect and made the long journey stress free and comfortable for him. Highly recommend

I was working in the garden and I saw the ambulance passing by. It came back some time later in the opposite direction. When they stopped to turn round I came forward and asked them if they were lost and maybe I could help. Delivery people frequently get lost in these parts. Without even bothering to ask me who I was, I got a very short, very curt "no" and a very stern facial expression. When I noticed they were going into my elderly neighbour, I approached the vehicle again and asked what had happened. Another very hostile response was, "we can't tell you anything". I said I was the lady's key holder. The paramedic turned her back to me, walked away and gestured a "go and get lost" (I am being polite) with her right arm. Whilst I understand patient's confidentiality, there are ways of saying things. There is no need to be rude. The driver did not even answer me. I appreciate that the NHS is under pressure but I have never met rude paramedics before. They have always been professional, kind and attentive. How very sad!
