Review titled Waste of time
by Anonymous - Posted on 19 October 2024
We rang 111 option 2 as our adult daughter, who is depressed, needed help and expressed alarming statements. The call handler would not speak further with us because our daughter refused to give consent nor speak to him herself. So that was that. The idea that healthcare professionals take their lead from a patient who is clearly depressed just beggar's belief. What a complete waste of time.

Review titled PDCS
by Anonymous - Posted on 25 June 2024
PDCS claims to know how to work with people who have diagnosed personality disorders however I strongly disagree. They set one treatment pathway for all individuals which involves group therapy and set talking discussions. There’s no room for individuality and if you miss groups you will then be discharged from the service. The communication between professionals and patients is extremely poor. You beliefs in what you think would be beneficial for yourself and would help is not listened to. The transition from camhs to adults is not taken into consideration with how hard it is. Overall just an extremely unhelpful practice and I know no person that has had a good experience with them, however PALS is great :)

Review titled All of the nurses, were lovely, chatty, reassuring and caring
by Sarah44 - Posted on 10 November 2023
I had a knee replacement and was a little concerned that my wound was infected, so I called my doctor and the district nurse visited that same day, she changed my dressing, advised me to contact the doctor and tell them to issue me some antibiotics at her suggestion and she arranged for a second visit to change my dressing the following week. Ultimately I had 3 people visit (2 visits, as one was a trainee) all of the nurses, were lovely, chatty, reassuring and caring. I just thought you often get negative feedback, but my experience was extremely good.

Review titled pdcs reds - great service
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Amy Paget - Posted on 16 June 2023
i had an initial assessment today before i start a 12 week course and i had a woman who was wonderful, and so kind. she made me feel so comfortable straight away, she was so friendly and down to earth and really was just so nice and relatable (without the circumstances it was like just talking to a friend) if i could put in her name i would, but she was so lovely and would recommend speaking to her one million percent if you could chose. very happy with how it went and she was just wonderful

Review titled Dangerous- Cambs mental health crisis team
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 05 May 2023
Shocking and dangerous to people suffering a mental health crisis. A close relative had a serious breakdown and threatened to take their own life. I call the crisis number (111 press 2). And hung on waiting for an answer for almost an hour. During that time my relatives state of mind deteriorated rapidly. In the end I had to hang up and take them to A and E. What a waste of valuable time. If I had not been there to prevent my relative harming themselves, I don't think she would still be with us. Offering a crisis line that doesn't get answered is worse than doing nothing. The system is gravely flawed, seriously broken and downright dangerous.
