Review titled Fitzwilliam Centre staff went above and beyond
by Sam P - Posted on 30 September 2022
I was having dizzy spells and advised to have my blood pressure taken. I went to Boots the chemist to ask if they could help. Boots couldn't help but gave me a few places that I could go but would need an appointment. As I work it's difficult to attend appointments, so I called the Fitzwilliam Centre. Staff at the Fitz told me to go to them and within minutes had taken my blood pressure and advised me to see my GP. This led to me having to attend the A&E. I would like to thank the staff at the Fitzwilliam Centre for helping and going above and beyond their duties.

Review titled Unknown waiting times and no answers
by Insertnamehere - Posted on 01 August 2022
I am a survivor of childhood sexual assault. I do not know what mental health condition I have as I have been on a waiting list for a full assessment for over a year. Given my symptoms it could be PTSD, a dissociative disorder, a personality disorder, something causing psychosis, some combination of these, or something else entirely (I don't know I'm not a psychologist). Throughout the past year I have phoned in multiple times to find out where I am on the waiting list and how long it will take for me to get an assessment so that I can get a diagnosis to get the information needed to sort out some kind of treatment plan that isn't a sticking plaster. When I call I am told each time that I will likely receive an appointment for an assessment in three months time. This is obviously not true. How am I supposed to find out my position on the waiting list and get a realistic understanding of how long I will be waiting if vey time I get fobbed off? I was able to find some useful information the last time I called, apparently I was moved to the waiting list for the emotional wellbeing service. I still don't how long I will have wait to find out what is wrong and what the most appropriate treatment would be.
